Jeez..... That is some bad luck. I hope you find an alternative soon!
-
Done. LOL
I wouldn't even begin to dream of imagining entertaining the thought that I might have "mastered" keyless works!
I've mastered breaking them...
-
If you 'master' the keyless works you should change the topic title thanIt's removing and putting hands back on I need to practise.
-
A tip: you do not need to practice assembling and disassembling the keyless.... you can teach a monkey to do that. You need to learn about the mechanics and how the parts interact. If you know that ....your keyless problems are over for good as the keyless on every movement, although designed differently, functions the same way. Learn the 'why' not the 'how'.
'Why' does the keyless on a 2836 pop faster than a 7750...
'Why' is the hand wind position the best position on a 2836 to remove the crown...
'Why' does a keyless pop?...
Etc.

Tight. If you use the original screw it will not be able to 'squeeze' the lever.

Thicker

0.025mm........really?

Welcome and they are not hard to find if you do some reading. What you have to learn about the rep scene is that we are no Walmart. You need to do some digging to find that perfect rep,

Great picture!..well ahead of your time. 2014 lol.

Thanks for your update madmex. Really bad news on the painted blue insert. How did you tell it was painted? It is indeed ridiculous to have a painted ceramic insert. I was planning on buying the blue cSMP but now I won't..... Not in milion years. The bezel insert and the caseback are the weak spots as far as accuracy, but the rest of the watch is pretty nicely done. The blue insert appears to be painted on top of the ceramic (defeats the purpose lol).

I is possible but only with Asian parts... Making it just as unreliable

A member for more than a year and you don't know the seconds @ 6 A7750? Reps like the IWC Ingy chrono, Portu, Rolex Daytona etc all have the seconds @ 6 movements but it is problematic without proper care. Do a search there is tons of information available.

True... But I have seen the Chinese come up with some nifty modifications over the years. No way of knowing for sure without seeing better pictures or pulling of the bridge.
-
I didn't think the previous version had the power reserve indicator. This one does nice addition
Indeed. Did not catch that. Wonder if it works... Almost sure it doesn't considering it's position.
-
Nothing new. It's been around since 3 months or so. Just a decorated a7750. Do a search.

It's not about the watch. It is about the profession. It should not matter what emblem is on the dial. It is about respecting and loving the mechanics no matter the brand. So I disagree with Joey. A good watchmaker takes more joy out of a fixing a broken, beaten watch than servicing a new watch.

Welcome to the world of snob watchmakers.

Why would you post this here? Don't trust it?Don't buy and go to your local Walmart!
All the instructions are there. It is a verified trusted dealer... End of story!

I can't answer your question but I noticed several times the minute hand between Sellita and Asian 2824 clone is different... Could be the case with the 2892 and ST18.
-
If that would be true.. But what if all other things would still be better on the noob would you then still pick the BP? How about picking the best overal watch and then if nessecary just do a relume ;-)
No. Buy both and combine into a perfect Sub-c.

Breath taking!!!!
Thanks for taking the time to do a write up.
Must resist... Must resist.
I prefer your rep over my gen by the way.
