  1. Oh boy...sorry I didn't even notice this was general discussion. Does the sa3135 actually fit into a gen case?

Thougt you were referring to the bezel and case constructies with 1:1. When it comes to movement dimensions and fitting the SA and Y3135 are a straight drop in . So they fit a gen case, take gen dials and hands.

  2. The time and effort to properly service a movement is irrelevant to the price of cet movement. Servicing an A7750 is as time consuming (even more due to poor tollerances) than an ETA7750. So I would imagine a sensible watchmaker would charge more for servicing an A7750 than a Swiss version.....

  3. I love mechanical watches but I'm planning to buy my very first digital watch....ever!

I kind of fell in love with the Gshock series. Love their look and robustness. But there are so many models and it is hard to judge size and wear. For me 42mm watches and PAMS feel comfortable when it comes to size and wear.

So tell me about your G shock and show us some stunning pics 8)

  4. Nice to know. Be ready, you may get more work than you can handle. ;)

We need a good US modder!

    Dave...

    Just a word of caution!

This post reminds me of how MD2020 started out.... We all know how that ended. Not saying that Misiekped is going down that same route. I don't know him nor can I say anything about his watchmaker skills. But when demand increases and a hobby turns into a business not many can handle the work load. I have seen a lot of watchmakers on different boards go belly up over the years. Leaving behind a trail of disaster and financial heartache.

So when you don't use a board approved watchmaker you are stepping into new waters... With all the risks involved.
