Serviced or unserviced?..... I presume the last?

Valgranges copy movement..... ask one of the dealers for a replacement.
What happened to the movement? Did it die? I just ordered a GTXL 21j
PS: I just saw this is a double post. I found it rather strange my earlier reply dissapeared.....it was a different post LOL

Valgranges copy movement... perhaps contact a dealer on the board.
What gives? Did the movement die? I just ordered a GTXL

OK here are the pics
Its kind of just a pictorial of swapping the Standard BCE date wheel for the one that Lello has produced.
Im not going to go into the details of how to do it, if you want to know that then please see Pugwash's post on changing date wheels.
I have to say that it looks great and recommend it to anyone. Also thanks to Lello, This forum is truly a great place to be!
HOWEVER, i have noticed that the date sometimes sticks, i.e. it doesnt fully change over at Midnight. It happens randomly and im not sure why. Not sure if its a date wheel problem or what. Maybe The Zigmeister can shed some light on it when he does some.
Anyway enjoy!
SWEEEEET!
Maybe it sticks because the wheel is thicker than the rep wheel????

26... OH NO ... 30 in sight

yes, if anyone has pics of their BCE w/ lello's wheel i'd love to see it...
Second that!

Glad it worked out for you! Looks really nice!

@Rolexman - I read your post before I started this thread, thats why I asked about brasso - (and great post BTW)...So you prefer brasso to a dremel for doing polished bands etc? Its not to abrasive for a mirror shine? I need to buy a polishing wheel for my dremel - going to home depot later...
Brasso in combination with a Dremel works perfect. It gives a more even result than polishing by hand due to the high RPM.
Finish with a Cape Cod cloth wrapped around a cotton wheel. Again due to the high RPM of the Dremel it gives the perfect end result. BLING BLING

There is a small screww in the center of the rotor that takes it out, BUT.... I didn't do that. When you open the caseback, even peer through it before you do, you will see the little bearings just under the rotor in a small circle. when the caseback is off you can "toothpick" a little lithium grease about the bearings, all the while cleaning the surface/pushing it in. We are talking head of the toothpick amount here, not alot. then put case back on and spin spin spin.
Agan a major improvement, but not total. don't notice noise AT ALL when I wear it. Good luck with yours
Thanks for the tip, appreciate it!

Depends on which Asian 7750 it is.... the old ones are known for their jerky second hand.

Tried the search function but without any results.
There's no screw in the middle, only three holes. Do I need a special tool for it?

I got a spare Divers Extension from a good Oyster bracelet... PM me
