- Nice pearl
- Perfect aligned and positioned Omega symbol
- Perfect aligned hour markers
- Smooth nickel plated ETA 2824
- No end link gap issue (as far as I can tell)
- No clasp gap issues (as far as I can tell)
Boy... you got one heck of a watch there.
Wear it well!

Without a WP test I had no problems with swimming and diving.. The UPO is great. Just tighten the Caseback, HEV and crown!
-
Nice Dutchy....
BTW: I don't like the rubber strap... why all the fuss about it?... because Daniel Craig has it bla bla ba... so what!
-
Hey RM if you look at the backside of the dial itself, you will see 2 prongs attaching the logo to the dial itself. It is possible to "ever so gently nudge the logo" to realign it to its proper position. Just take your time, and you will do fine
Thanks for the tip but I can live with it... If I try to fix it it will end up even worse (has always been the case)

I send all the pics to Lello and Kruzer... so it's up to them now
-
Yours is even worse than mine... i'm sory dude.

What an A hole

I swam with my UPO.. no problems what so ever. True.... the HE valve does not really tighten but if you screw it down tight enough (along with the case back and crown) it will not cause any problems. I also dived with it to the bottom of te swimming pool (10 feet= 3 meter)

BTW...if YOU think the prices here aren't justified....what are you gonna do if the boards eventually disappear.....and you're cast into the void of the WWW and the fakeluxurygifts.com vendors......let's hear you bleat about unjustified pricing.......and don't run away with the idea that there will be any succour gleaned from the cartel once the reins have been removed.
Now that you mention it.... it wouldn't surprise me if our 'trusted' dealers (and I ain't talking about you TTK) also run a couple of other sites which are very simular to our so called scam sites were they charge even higher prices than they do here.
-
or provide info ro anyone who has an agend regarding closing down the board and dealers.!
Well... my kindergarten math can be done by eveybody... it's no rocket science so I don't think it's fair to blame this post (and indirect me) for the recent events. So what if it's speculation? Which posts on this board can be backed up with hard evidence ... not a lot....we are not at the university you know!
-
"I think our dealers are filthy rich....at least $25,000 a month".....serve no useful purpose for the sustenance of our hobby
That is my post and I don't agree with you on that. I did not want to stir up anything just to point out that maybe the high prices we are charged for our watches are not justified!
provocative post such as thisSounds a little hypocrite coming from you...
by those who don't share our views.I think I share the view of most of the board members here (the topic is rated 4*).. maybe not your view TTK

Okay...
I also like the black version best!
-
but Andrew said that the graphite was the most popular and most accurate....it is beautiful)
Dude.. do you believe Andrew over me? Black dial with silver subs is the most accurate! If you like the graphite version better then it's a different story but regarding accuracy it looses from the black dial.
-
Haw about the model advertised HERE as "watch of the week? (scroll down) Is there a difference between slate-gray dial and black sub dials and graphite dial with black sub dials?
Yes, there is.
-
Most accurate is the black dial with silver subdials.
I had the graphite version and the colour difference between the subdials and dial is clearly noticeable...especially in direct light..... believe me.
-
I'm pretty sure that the gen white dial is 'white-white', not a 'silvery white'. I saw one in an AD that looked very white. Granted i didnt have anything to compare it to, but it didn't seem to be tinted at all.
Sorry b16a2.. I have the gen silver/ white BCE of my neighbour here.
IMO the 2nd gen BCE is more accurate when it comes to the right colour white (creamy white has more resemblance to the silverish dial).
New 45mm UPO with the Correct Omega symbol :)

I stand corrected.
