Guys, i just installed gen tube and crown on two of my projects (6263 & 6265). Now i am wondering how should the crown be aligned, or does it not matter? Thanks

Avitt, that caseback is a real beauty...where did you find it?

I just used used the crown. Basically, thread the crown to the tube and then thread the tube into the case. Keep turning until seated completely.

I do not know why it does not work... I have re threaded the case and when inserting the crown it stop about half way... ver annoying... I am trying to find the correct tool on ebay but nothing yet

It's possible to repair the scratches without having to repaint the entire dial.

7 days left and both are in the $300 range. It will be interesting to see where these end up at.
