Alright guys, there has been a lot of talks if the bids are shill or not. i just checked the watch and noticed that it has oe bid at 4600USD, i know this bidder and can say with 100% confidence that this is a genuine bid. Lets see what happens next...

I have it somewhere, I will post when I find the packet they came in. They are standard 19mm bars as far as I know....nothing special about them that I can see, just far better made than rep pins.
Thanks, BTW did you order them from Rolex or did you visit a AD? Thanks

What about this one, is it genuine or a franken?

The genuine bars are very well made and pricy at 5 pounds each!, the biggest difference is that the outer tube is 19mm so that all the sprung section is either inside the tube or in the lug so giving a much better and stronger fit.
Do you know the reference number for the springbars? BTW are the springbars for the daytona the same as for AirKing?
Thanks

all auctions provided by JDM_K end very high compared to other sellers...

For starters, it shouldn't have a luminous dot at the 12:00 position. The picture makes it difficult to judge the depth and quality of the subdials. But probably a pretty good buy at $100 - $200.
So in other words, this dial is not very good...

Thank you!! The black AT is almost exactly what I am looking for! And it gives another impression seeing it like this. How could I have missed it?
An Omega - it will be!

That seller I've seen before...several times. He keeps churning out these frankens.
I like this one, very nice indeed....

The last brand new VJ72 LeCoultre on eBay, seller wanted $1K...
Pat
This is what the VJ72 normally sells for, but there are always people who do not know what a VJ72 is worth and they do not know how to sell it. So therefore if you are patient enough, and search for VJ72 movements thoroghly, you will find movements for around 500USD...
Recently i bought a 726 movement for 455USD....

When you order a watch, you have to ask the sender to write the value of the parcel under 100USD, this way you will avoid the customs taxes.
-
He does not need do show a invoice for the customs. The parcel that EL sent states that the value of the parcel is 250USD. Parcelforce will send a invoice to your friend, then he will have to call them and pay the charges.
Thats it, very simple...dont worry, at least you know that your friend WILL receive the watch.
