  3. Baaaad idea, Loiterers may as well carry a placard saying 'PICK ME' .
  4. Youre taking reps TO Asia .
  5. Yes I should have said I did all my RC damage back in the days before the 'cheap n easy' electric ones. A crash back then was a good an solid kick in the wallet. .
  6. You think so ???? I smashed up dozens of these RC things (ones with real motors).... Do what I did Go fly the real thing easier! & cheaper too
  7. Although Ive not experienced this with any of my shipments to customers heres my take Plastic bags... pretty but just as immune to box cutters and tape as bubble mailers and boxes. Postal workers usually 'dissappear' the whole thing if stealing. This happens A LOT to mail in Asian countries - thievery/Customs activity (generally little difference)- has to be taken into account. Refuse it, make official note of it etc etc ...all well and good if its fully insured and has a bona fide return address. Two problems here - when mailing from China, Thailand etc 'mickey mouse' return addresses are needed to prevent arrest after inevitable customs seizures....this negates any ability to claim. Also insurance , as most customers want a painless transition thru their home customs, BS declared values are de rigeur (cannot have your cake & eat it too). .

    Wow !

You have missunderstood me I for one saw it as a tongue in cheek satire and replied in a similar vein. Had that been a real live newby post (which I never mistook it for) youda got a roasting. Take a tablet and calm down .
  9. Ahhh 'it blows' an Americanism not in use in the UK....... reference was to a UK phrase 'blowing one's own trumpet' (self advertising). Sometimes its easy to forget the multinational nature of the forum And yes a good watch (or I wouldnt have personally selected it ) .

  15. Needle!!!! Failing that just get the correct tool for the job http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=5941 .
  16. Agreed The strap lets it down But replacing and keeping the deployant is a problem as you need avery thin strap to wind back on itself thru that clasp. Better to swap out with a high quality butterfly IMHO .
  17. Terminology...just that.... Replica, Fake. Sexton. Moody, Rikki, Bent........whatever, I personaly could care less Motives for owning one...well thats a world encompasing can o' worms that could fuel a thread forever. But... Throwing rocks at peeps monetary standing (or rather their lack of) is all just a bit relative, in some money circles owning reps to save wear n tear on a couple of tawdry Rolex would be cosidered the actions of some being from a lower strata. .
  18. A bit of sophistication today..................... .
  19. The missing Eberhard 4 photo: .
  20. Oprah's favourite apparantly . No great shakes..with that case shape it had to be a Roth or a Stein .
  21. That is a PHILIP STEIN TESLAR 3DD-F-FSMOP-AW Now you can reaffirm your 'expert' status in their eyes! (If theyda given you a blurry picture of some tawdry Rolex you would have 27 pages of thread to plough thru ) .
  22. Heres a close match: http://81.169.162.205/watchstrap-p535h331s..._18mm_blac.html This German Company very quick, economical and high quality Have a browse lots to choose from (typically 3 days to your door in the UK) They even do the 'springbars' (for that is thier name) you want also .
  23. Ive had the same problem fixed by my repairer.......from memory was something to do with a 'tension spring' deep within the movement. .
  24. Fakes Whoda thought it eh Ive got some boxed VAIO 8gig s you can have for a song tee hee .
  25. Heres one of my one shot, not in total darkness, but in the ambient light of a Thai open air bar complex. Done with just a mobile phone and no p/shop'ing! People if you dont own one of these reps yet....stop what you are doing........run (dont walk!) and get one .
