Maybe I'm wrong ,
but buy the entire startime bracelet (I read only 12,95$) and use only the final endlink connector ?
It seem the 'solid' connector not 'coevo' with the period but better that the weak/poor cartel connector ..
It accept 2mm spring bar ?

For my vintage watches( gen rlx, yema ecc) I have had good experience with Harleysta91 a young Italian guy with lot of experience in vintage and with cheap price ;-) see on rwi Dolcevita Orologiaio.Thx for the replies, I hope your comments with make him reconsider. In that case he just needs to get it serviced. Any recommendations on who could service it in EU?- 1

Rep sticker by myself 'garantito senza radiazioni' :-)

Nice story and lucky your father for this Patek.
My only gift story is my first gen Rolex date steel gold that my father bought when I was 26 years old. I remember that i worn it day and night I can't able to take It off , I slept with it for 6 months :-) -
I tackled this problem recently with Mary's lovely 7836 band. You can get pretty good results if you find the right bits to fit in there.
I see now your reply..above I reply to automatico.
Good solution for your GMT , but I have to buy an entire bracelet..maybe here on rwi sale part ?
And if I cut in the middle and fold my bracelet link in excess? ( that I have removed from bracelet for adjust wrist size)
But maybe the 501b is the best solution for cover this line engrave..
-
Ok, but before I try with a new endlink 501b maybe cover this 'shitty' notched endlink that show all the world that is a replica bracelet ..
-
Hi ,
if i buy the 501b maybe they cover the unpleasant notched in the final connecting link ?
this kit ( latest 93150 +501b) was designed for 1665

anyone change the end link with this 501b ?

I forgot to mention ( if isn't contrary to rwg rule ) that the problem on the dial/ movement that collapsed throughout the journey France - Italy I suppose for a bump , was fix today by my Italy friend nick : "Harleysta91" "Orologiaio" on RWI "la dolce vita" section.
see him during operation -

Now I tell you a little story about yesterday..
A scary evening .
The traking said that the parcel was on delivery so I wait it at home.
Than in the late afternoon the traking said delivered , i check on my mail box but I haven't received anithing!
So I call Posteitaliane and they said to send a write claim and than they will reply to me by 45 days :-(
I'm very depressed I figured that the courrier have stolen the watch and all the part end work modding was lost..or that he have delivered to another address in my city.
Than later I drag me and my depression out of my house and I check the mail box and i found the parcel ! The driver maybe was on delay and don't wait my sign for acceptance ..
Bad experience guys .. -
Arrived these evening ..
I don't know the France postal system ..
In Italy the problem is that the courrier company hire foreign worker with lower skill ..also there are warehouse robber , but in my personal experience I have received always all..
Other problem is the strict custom for law about counterfeiting ..
the watch is amazing only he have get a hit during the transport because the dial moved/ rotate on the left and the hand are free , the next days I check with my watchsmit, maybe the dial and dwo break off from movement ..

...sorry mate but I don't know what you are talking about with that groove/rabbet. I bought the whole thing, rotating bezel, tension ring and retaining ring. Bought them over at the bay...easy to find...just search for 5513 bezel
But the seller is woresaleoutlet ? -
WSO bezel is working fine...sits rather tight than loose
Ok tks
But do you have bought only the rotating bezel or also the retaining ring ? Do you have a link where do you bought them?
Because I read that wso rotating bezel don't have the groove / rabbet that should be embed/get stuck on the retaining ring groove/rabbet ..(I can't find the correct word )
-
Hi,
But the wso bezel assembly work properly or have the same problem of the cartel one and pop off when you press/tap it on finger? -
Yes , right , but now is too late..the next shipping i use UPS ;-)

No unfortunately because this is a mbk I do not have a gen dial. He machined a mbk ones for me to accommodate a gen dial. But not this one.

MBK dial is good, very accurate IMHO, my cartel dial instead was a fantasy dial ..
7 minutes ago, QueTip said:Why's that mate?
because RA have shipper yesterday from France, but the Poste Italiane are a risk..not for the custom but because there are many robbers..
now the watch have almost 1700 euro in work and part.

see the write T<25 that have more space below.. -
Tks,
Now i hope it will arrive..i'm worried -

After some search i discovered on "rolexforum" that the cartel bracelet is similar to the "newer 93150 bracelet has the wedge shaped center link and it is notched.
http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=286636
so isn't necessary modded the final connecting link..

Edit: 12,95 $ is only the buckle( the endlink ?) item MOA-3C(SUB), but the entire bracelet cost 75$ :-(
