Check if you have some half links around, I did that on a two tone bracelet I had a while ago. You can pry the links apart and remove the center of the half mid link and do the same on the connecting piece and exchange them.
I have the hollow link in excess!
so do you mean that i have to cut in the middle of the rear side of this link and folded it like the final connection: recreate the bend in wich pass trough springbar ?
But i need special tool and manual skill for this work ?
Do you have same pics of your work?

Hi,
as do you know, the cartel bracelet 93150 have a flaws on final connecting link , the line engraved on it ( see pic.1)
where i can find a final connecting link without this line engraved ( see gen bracelet pic.2 ) ?
Obviously i can't ask to AD because i have to show them an original 93150..otherwise they call
and if i polished it until it disappear ?
maybe the steel came too mach thin and weak ?

Hi,
yesterday i have check a Gen 1680 of my friend,
i saw that the endlink are different from my cartel ,the general appearance of gen are more thin , strech out , they have more gracefulness
(sorry i can't find the correct word for expalane it ..), the cartel are more short / stubby.
And another thing , the gen show a little case part ( the space between the top of the end link and the bezel ,see pics below sample )
the gen 1680 is near Nos so i don't think that the endlink was worn-out by time..
maybe the WSO are Gen spec or are identical to the Cartel one ?

I have improved my experiment with guarantee , not bad for a copy ..now the number reference 'punched'
is the same of my watch..
-
You are right ,
I thinked that is better looking for a Gen tritium dial , is more expensive but the final esthetically result is what i realy want!

blow the pics ..

Hi ,
i have found a Gen luminova dial "Swiss" refinished for 330 euro , but i have a doubt about the color..
In is necessary change also the hand and the pearl_insert or i can keep my creamy hand and yuki pearl_insert ?
what do you think about the color (pure white) of luminova Dial ?
tks

ok tks,
but now is more important improve the dial and centered data windows with number..
so the plexi came i second order..maybe i can reinstall the original cartel plexi that i remember is nice..

I'm almost finished with my 1016 Explorer build and think I want to do a Tudor 7928. I think I'm going to start with a Cartel 5513. I figure I'll go with the cheaper version with the 2813 movement for $148. I have a Seagull TY2100 (2836) that I can use. My thought is to use a dial from Yuki ot ND Trading. My question is which gen parts to use and where to have any case mods done.
i'm not expert but maybe the cartel 2813 don't switch with 2836 (different hand pinion ? ) but i have read that the 2813 can switch with myota 8215 ( see Interactive work..)

No i used the standard dwo from rep and i just replace the dial.
Unfortunatelly i no longer have watch and i do not take picture.
ok , is a shame..
why you sell the watch?
but the fonts was centered in the Data windows ?
-
Tks loveOldsWacthes
I think the same thing..so now your watch is finish ? Please do you have a pics of The dwo centered in the date Windows ?
Do you have bought also the silver dwo from peterpark?
-
sure, another expensive hobby..
-
ok tsk!
i read the link ..i think that maybe the opener have a MBW , and if i correct understand is Gen spec (Gen "dial widow "& Gen "date window") so the Clark plexy don't work ..
but also my Cartel watch have a Clark plexi and don't work , so maybe the Cartell have Gen Spec ? but it have Eta movement so the "date window" position should be different..
the only solution should be buy 2 dial from Yuki ( one for gen 1570 movement and one for eta 2836 ) choose the better one and sell the other .
but in this way i spend twice money

Hi,
i read a lot here and in other forum and i asked mp to some kindly member, but i have yet a doubt
I want improve the dial of my 1680 Perfect Clones with a Yuki_Eta_2836 or Yuki_Spec_1570 ( or a RLX_GEN if i have budget..).
I have read that the Cartel dial diameter is 26,2mm and the Yuki ( and Gen ) is 26,5, so i have to mill/shave the dial_seat_rehault for .3mm.
Now my doubt is about the Date Window..
My clark plexi ( that i think is for Gen-Spec ) il too far right ( see yellow arrow in the pics) so i think that a Yuki_Spec_1570 ( or RLX_GEN) will be too far right for my Cartel DWO.
In other word , i not understand if the Yuki_Spec_1570 ( or RLX_GEN) have the Date Window too on the right so it cut the left of the font/Number and for example
if today data is "25" i can se only the "5" , or if is the opposite and the Date Window cut the font on the right so i read only "2".
Maybe i have to change the DWO with this Silver DWO cityweekender/peter park ? or i have to buy another DWO , but which one ?
Or best solution, is buy a Yuki_Dial_Eta_2836 so the Date Windows is on the correct position for my 2836 DWO ?
thanks for your support

I guess I have some options:
- Get a better case. But I don't have the funds for that atm.
- Trim the case. But that would require access to a lathe.
- Trim the dial. I can probably do that with tools I have, but that would make the dial unusable the day can afford a better case.
- Build a 5513 instead and put the 1680 dial in a drawer for the time being.
Desicions, desicions.
@tanaris , i have also a 1680 perfect clones and I'm thinking to improve the dial with yuki or gen..
than do you have change the dial ?

Hi !
here my little project ..
watch rlx 1680 from josh (perfect clones) asian 2836 , than my watchsmith switched with Eta 2846 low beat
i sent it to RolexAddict for the base mod (CG, dial lume, fade insert, springbar, clark plexi, yuki insert), but than i shipped to RA for mod crown & tube with athaya.
in the pics we have also :
- paper, bill ecc by Rolojack
- only the garantie & calendar is my experiment..
-gen service box from ebay
-gen leather wallet from ebay
maybe in the future i will improve the watch, but for the moment i will stop here ..
what do you think ?
i forgot ..this was the previous owner..
see on the wrist..

I have a old, broken, 2846. With a little luck I might have the 2846 parts you seek. If you are still looking, please drop me a message. Else I will not bother going through all my parts. No charge (only for the shipping, if you want reg. shipping).
Thank you blix !
But i have finded in italy a 2846 for 60€ shipped..
I forgot: and it is perfect compatibile with 2836 !

Seems that for the new cartels, the crystal isn't on tight either
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Possibile, but then i have switch with a Clark plexi but it don't solved the problem..
I think that there is an error about diameter tollerance..

Hi,
than i have found a solution for the bezel that pop up easly ..
I have put a very little drop of glue for steel inside the bezel assembly. I wait that the glue was dry and than i push it on his place.
Now it is tight and don't pop up , and If i want i can rotate the bezel (but is better don't exceed and challenge the luky ...)
