I tend to watch FoodTV a lot and Alton Brown and Bobby Flay seem to be big watch enthusiasts. I've seen Bobby Flay with an IWC Big Pilot, Rolex DJ Jubilee TT, a SS black Submariner and a few others I couldn't recognize. As for Alton Brown he's a BIG watch buff: The usual Submariner 16610, a Panerai [couldn't tell which model], Tag Heuer Monaco, a Daytona, an Anonimo, A few Omegas including a Bond Seamaster, a TT DJ... etc. A lot more too which I couldn't recognize. Ingrid Hoffman of Simply Delicioso wears a Rolex Submariner 16610, nothing else:

The movement is the Seagull ST-19, it's the most reliable movement on a rep chronograph, people refer to it as "Bulletproof", you can't go wrong with one of those movement, it's manual wind @ 21,600BPH. How about cleaning the hands? The hands on my Ingy were full of them but I cleaned them a bit with those lint free cloths for lenses and are now acceptable, will Rodico clean them fully? Is there anything else that could do the trick? [/hijack]

Not entirely true, it all depends on the appearance you give, for example if you're dressed like these guys, no one will believe you [however, it also depends on the watch, a fully iced Rolex is not only of bad taste, but that one will be an obvious fake!]: But if you dress properly, and give a good image then you have nothing to worry about. I personally don't like diamonds on mens watches, well, on most of them at least, this is perhaps the only way I like diamonds on a watch, and that's ONLY on the dial with baguette diamonds at 9 & 6, subtle and not too flashy:

Rubies on a mens watch? No!!! Dude, stop right there! In my country, Rubies are considered low... as in bad taste, however the diamond markers are just fine [if you actually do like them].. I would go for a nice Roman marker DJ or Diamond markers with a Black MOP dial. Remember, less is more!
