  1. How about putting it under some fresh, moist soil in a plastic cup under the sunlight for 3-5 days? The acids in the soil plus the abrasiveness of it will probably "age" it nicely.
  2. Envious of that douche? No. To be envious of someone like him would be pretty low, sad actually.
  3. Wow, talk about totally uncalled for.
  4. It's a blatant lie, I bought the 'waterproofing' service when I was a noob [my 1st rep] and when I had it tested my watch smith told me I could shower with it, but I should forget about swimming with it. Like Toad said, buy a watch and get it serviced in your country by a local watch smith or one of the forums watch smiths, might even be cheaper and definitely much more reliable than taking the dealers word for it, specially Jandrew's.
  5. Tell me about it... two simple fixes and they couldn't get them right this time KNOWING what they were, but, I guess they do it on purpose or are really dumb considering they had the gen, supposedly, to work on the replication, and two, they know that the closer the rep is to gen the more people will feel attracted to it therefore purchasing it....
  6. I hate it when someone stirs the pot, everyone asks where it came from and the answer doesn't come out fast enough: http://jewelryandwatch.com/index1.html There, it's a $15,500 replica. They also have Rolex reps with supposedly gen movements and parts. lol trailboss, seconds appart...
  7. Well that is quite true. Let me rephrase that: DSFARGEG! (USER WAS BANNED FOR THIS POST)
  8. Man that sub is terrible, do yourself a favor and purchase from one of the trusted dealers here! Sorry to read you got scammed, I wouldn't pay $10 for that watch. They're labeled as scammers for a reason mate.
  9. Did a little poking around, this might be the culprit: http://global.kyocera.com/news/2008/0713.html This could get interesting... I hope they start making TT reps with gold tone ceramic.
  10. I'm deciding if I should get this HBB or a tourbillon...
  11. I'm terribly sorry for bumping this ooooooooold thread, however, it's 4am and this post popped into my mind, and I own Tee-Jay a very long overdue apology... that was the noob I was before and I'm sorry for ever posting that about Andrew, it was really ignorant of me [i mean come on, if you check my first posts I didn't even know what 'AD' meant nor the difference between a UPO 'lite' and one with an ETA movement inside! ]... So Tee-Jay sorry about that ol' bud! A long overdue apology, may this get buried in the past as one of the biggest mistakes I've posted [the positive Andrew comment, specially the part where I mention "So as soon as THAT kind of service keeps up, I'm buying from them" oh God I still can't believe I posted that... ]. Rock on my friend!
  12. I would go with Angus {aka Pure Time} on the Nautilus, he has a lot of dials available and you can modify them with diamond bezel or markers: http://www.puretimewatch.com/index.php?cat...mp;show_all=yes Here's an awesome review by D4M: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showto...hinese+nautilus My word of advice is to avoid the display back Nautilus, the closed back is much more accurate and resembles the older models.
  13. I have a Speedmaster that's 36 years old, the Tritium markers still glow but at a very faint glow.
  14. Sorry, I can't hear you over the sound of how awesome I am.
  15. Can't touch this! [insert cheesy music]
  16. Christ you're still going at it with this dumb fighting of ours?
