  1. I would not travel with that many watches, especially, if you are (or look like) a student. You are just begging for trouble. I would wear 1 (preferably, the gen) & ship the rest to yourself. Insure the package for a small amount, no more than $25 or $50 (total), since you are unlikely to get anything more than that if the package is lost & higher amounts tend to trigger postal inspectors' inspection reflex.

Thanks for the advice mate! :)

Would you think traveling with one on my wrist and 3 on my watch travel case would work?

  2. To clear off some doubts, the AD offered the buyers to have the Nautilus with or without the seconds hand; there's something more to this but I don't know how it goes. With so many Nautilus variations and the little knowledge people have about Patek Philippe watches no one will call you out. Unless it's a Patek buff... but with the many variations of this watch, again, I doubt they will call you out. :)

  3. I'm sorry to High-Jack this thread, I'm traveling to the U.S. back again to college, I have 8 watches (7 reps here and one gen), I have bought a travel watch case for this purpose (and to store them here at home), you think I'll have problems if I take all of them all at once? Can anyone give me some info. Regarding this please? Thx!

  4. My suggestion is to get the Day-Date and wear it on special occasions only, yellow or rose gold is nice to wear at night or formal events; for every day usage get a nice SS watch, or WG plated, a Two Tone is also a good choice.

You could also have the watch PVD coated in yellow or rose gold, it will wear like iron, but I don't know how much it costs or how do you remove the plating first from the case and crown... Or you could buy a SS DD get it PVD coated in gold and swap the dial with a genuine in YG (they go for around $200-400 on the Bay). The possibilities are endless.

  5. I am very intrested to buy a good Daydate

Watchmaker9 claims to have a wrapped good Daydate for $ 572.99 In photo this watch is very nice

My inquiry is: Is this watch really more detailed and best than standard Daydate reps $ 235 from Trusty, Perfect-Clones ecc...? Has it a correct value for money ?

That watchmaker-9 is overpricing everything way too much ($375.99 for a Date-Just!?!?) and is using the usual scammer lingo, there's no such thing as a "Swiss-Made rep"... EVER!

Stick with the trusted dealers, for Day-Dates and Date-Just Ruby is the dealer to go, her specialty are those two, she can have one custom made for you with the dial you want, type of bracelet, gold color, etc. Shoot her an email! Oh, and BTW her prices are less than $220 for a FG Date-Just or Day-Date. Beats the hell out of $572 doesn't it? Plus Ruby inspects the watch before sending it to you and actually sends you pics of the watch you're getting! :D

  6.

Now that I think of it, I suppose I shouldn't let a 4 year old watch ghost hunters huh

Meh, my parents let me watch anything (TV, internet, magazines, etc.), I turned out just fine, good grades at school, I have lots of friends, I like to dress GQ style and I'm heading off to college in a few months, honestly let the kids watch anything, I even got to watch the Playboy channel, yay! (Seriously I did). B)

The only thing that kids need is a good education and discipline, I cannot tell you how many times I see some brat making a scene at a mall, the supermarket or a restaurant and the parents BEG him to be quiet and stop making a mess, some even CRY! Wtf?! That's PATHETIC! And bad parenting! When I was a kid if I made a scene it was told that either I shut up and behave or I would get spanked, and trust me I did because they would do it!

Keyword here is discipline! I don't mean beat him to a pulp, just slap some sense into the kid and tell them the consequences.

  7. When I bought a Omega leather strap for my Gen Speedmaster at an AD I just told them I needed one and they showed me what they had, they did offer to do the installation for free but I didn't have the watch at the moment so I did it myself when I got home, no need to have a watch strapped on your wrist. That was about 2 years ago. I guess it depends on the AD, some are far more anal than others, asking for it as a gift for someone else is the best way to go.

  8. BTW this is the message I got from the seller:

Screw you, go report me to who ever you want. Dont give a [censored],

i aint no scam. Am tired of dumb ass people like you judging

people without knowing. I took it off because people like you cry

your ass off over stupid [censored]. I dont have the time and patients to

talk or read your stupid emails.

    No surprise there.

  9. I had to send a message to the winning bidder warning him about the fake on the Tag and the Omega, the scammer ended the auction early to collect the money before eBay could shut down the auction, damn scammers! If you can send them a message as well stating they were bidding on fakes so that they won't think we're joking.
