  1. So after hitting refresh on the tracking page constantly for the last 8 days, my new SuperOcean Abyss 44mm has finally arrived. I had the original 42mm abyss, and I can happily say this one is much nicer. The bigger size, and different dial really do it for me. This is a Breitling that I can wear, and enjoy. So kudos to the rep makers for this one, and keep up the good work. Only thing is that the ProII is a PITA to size. Other than that it's great. Here's some pictures for those on the fence. 20130315195809.jpg 20130315195800.jpg 20130315195742.jpg 20130315195713.jpg 20130315195615.jpg 20130315195609.jpg 20130315195547.jpg 20130315195540.jpg 20130315123005.jpg 20130315195517.jpg Thanks for looking Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 2

  2. Does anyone know if the phong crystal is a direct swap, or if modifications for the 7032 are necessary? I managed to mangle up my DW crystal, and want to keep one on spare for when I get around to swapping it. Thanks in advance Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 2

  3. So my indirect boss was in today, and I noticed he was wearing a Breitling of some sorts. So my boss says to me, take a look at his watch. So I did, and said nice watch. But then he takes it off, and shows it to me. It was terrible on all sorts. Like really, really bad. They all know that I am a big watch guy, and build Frankens and source parts, ect. So I proceeded with nice watch. I played out the "friends don't let friends wear bad reps" card, but just didn't have the heart. Just thought I'd share. Any other stories from the group, where you just didn't have the heart to tell them, "Not so much" Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 2

  4. E, Thanks a million. You totally helped me out with the movement. Thanks again bud. You are right also, patience is key with these, because you need to find the right parts, and if you don't, its gonna be a money pit. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2

  5. So, after many months of waiting my Tudor 7032 project is finally done. Here are the specs: DW 7032 Case, Dial, and Hands V7734 movement from Ephry Folded bracelet 7836 with 358 end links After I got all the parts, everything went off to Chris at 10:10 Watches for a movement service, the 45 minute conversion, and assembly. Everything went as smooth as possible, and this is the finished result. Overall, I'm completely satisfied with the watch. Its such a looker, and in my humble opinion better looking than the Daytona. Plus it has the added benefit of the date. As far as running, its nearly dead on accurate over the 4 days that I've had it, and the power reserve is great. The folded link bracelet is hands down the most comfortable bracelet that I've ever worn, and Rolex should definitely bring it back in a big way. Plus it looks awesome. The DW case accepts gen spring bars, so no drilling was required. I think that next it needs a relume in a light cream, and PBs matte dial treatment. Maybe a case softening, but I'm still on the fence. Otherwise, it was a fun build and I'm totally happy with the finished product, and highly recommend it to anyone who is on the fence. :Dhttp://img541.imageshack.us/i/img20130104161433.jpg/'>img20130104161433.jpghttp://img694.imageshack.us/i/img20130104161322.jpg/'>img20130104161322.jpghttp://img571.imageshack.us/i/img20130104161526.jpg/'>img20130104161526.jpghttp://img69.imageshack.us/i/img20130104161415.jpg/'>img20130104161415.jpghttp://img20.imageshack.us/i/img20130104161441.jpg/'>img20130104161441.jpghttp://img23.imageshack.us/i/img20130104161401.jpg/'>img20130104161401.jpg Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2

  6. Glad it worked out brother. Chris is getting a few of my movements for maintenance, including two y3135s for a pair of special builds.
Yeah it worked out perfect. Chris said it was a tricky maintenance, but it is now running almost dead on over 2 days, and an almost 3 day PR. And the 45 min conversion went as smooth as it could. Good luck with the builds, I can't wait to see them. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  7. I am in the exact same boat. That one really gets me. I have a 19 day one, and I'm trying to figure out the right combination of making it work. So far it has an ETA 2893-2 and a TC DWO and it is all kinds of off. I'm gonna change it over to a DG movement and possibly see if that helps. Otherwise I'll try a BK DWO, as these are usually more centered. I'm interested in what you come up with. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2

  8. Cool, thank you. Now the big question is whether to do a yuki/ndt/phong case and dial combo and a DG, or do a josh 1655 and bezel assembly and a yuki/ndt/phong dial and raffles hands. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2

  9. Does anyone know what DWO fits the DG movement? I have a spare TC one, so I'm just trying to decide if I'm gonna use a DG or 2836 GMT movement in my 1675 build that I'm planning out. Thanks in advance Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2

  10. By-tor, I think you may be right. It will be here tomorrow or Friday, so we can see. I had PB do the full works on it. Here is what I had done: Work completed: -custom assembly -slight case softening and aging -drill and chamfer lug holes -2mm springbars -slight fade to insert -trim, shape and soften cgs -move cyclops -install h4 onto supplied mvmt -install supplied dwo -relume dial and hands in superluminova -modify mvmt ring -supply mvmt tabs -grease gaskets  Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
