By-Tor and I must be thinking similar thoughts as I just picked up another gen Tag too.

Try sending The Zigmeister a PM

reckon if the watch is the business, you could pop an ETA in there?
Yes, but you would have to do the usual hand modification.

As much as I hate the brand, Hublot is now a member of LVMH and they won't have a problem surviving. Growth may be a problem, but not survival.

EXTREME CASEBACK!

No, I have not seen any reps with the red dot, I myself look for one when buying a gen to ensure I am getting the real deal.

Ironic that a guy with the name "chronoMASTER" does not know how a chronograph works!

Please post your impressions of this when you get it, I am torn between this and the Skyland Blacksteel, I think this ones smaller size may be more my style.

lol @Fidelstro, if THAT would have been the offer I do believe we'd have taken the check too but the thing is when we told her dad about the wedding and the date we picked he jumped on it right away saying 'well you'll need this' ORDER and this ORDER
Holy [censored], her father sounds high maintenance enough, I can only imagine what she is like. God bless you child, you may need it.

Never really understood why people invest so much in to a wedding if they cant afford it. I hate all that crap. When my wife and I tied the knot we had no groomsmen or bridesmaids. Simply my brother was my best man and her sister was her maid of honor. I bought a nice suit, my wife bought a dress, but we asked nobody else to buy anything. We invited all our friends to the ceremony but the reception was for family and only the closest of friends. I've been to many large weddings, but to a man, everyone said that our intimate wedding was their favorite.
I fully agree with this statement. Too many people go way in the hole on the wedding and that is money that is often better used, especially in today's society. My grandfather on my mom's side offered my parents either a big wedding or the equivalent amount of money in a check so that they could run off and do whatever with the money, get married in Vegas if they wanted to. They took the big wedding. My dad said if he had it to do all over he would have took the money and had a much smaller wedding.

Excellent post and idea! Can't wait to see the goods also!

I would like to echo the best wishes and congrats sent out by those who posted before me. Absolutely amazing and beautiful location for the day.

I don't understand where "Breitling has balls" comment comes from. Does it take balls to either innovate your company, or die at the hands of a competitor controlling your movement supply.
Also - 70 hour power reserve! Bitchin!

Dani,
I thought the same thing, but then people did not have a problem dropping 1k on an ugly ass Hublot, so this will sell too.
-
Price is up now, it is 468. Quite steep in my opinion.
-
Why is this in the other section and not the Breitling section?

One could argue that advertising the hardness would lead one to believe that the bezel is nearly indestructable. Not saying that they are the same thing, but I am sure that they don't mind muddying the water to lead people on.

I thought Rolex had an ad about how great and strong the ceramic bezel was. I guess it is more [censored] to go with the "It takes a year to build a Rolex" line.
In other news: JESUS [censored] CHRIST SHUNDI!!!! I want those!

I wondered about that myself, but I can't figure out why they would get the case texture closer than the last one then go do something stupid like making a faux chronograph.
-
No price is up yet, well not a real one anyway, but you can see photos:

What do you guys think?

Congrats! My brother and I are 5 and 1/2 years apart. If yours are anything like we were you are in for a real treat.

I am making a broad generalization, but often times the people on gen forums know jack [censored] about watches. They don't realize that a Breitling Navitimer and a Tag Link have the same movement, that ETA makes them, and that ETA is a Swatch company. They bought something and don't realize that it is probably 80% identical to another watch someone else has and yet they still get in brand pissing matches.

Curious about the coating, I wonder how well it will hold up over time and weather it will scratch showing steel through it. The carbon nitride-based treatment on the gen one is scratch resistant.
The gen and the rep underwent the same process. Lani beat his on accident and it did not scratch.

Bear Grylls also wears a Breitling Emergency, and he is probably the only person on television I could imagine may have a need for one.
