Impressive! After how long from purchace did they fail? Have heard other complains and horror stories about Paul but my dealings with him have been good so far, 6 reps so far in 4 different shipments spread in almost 2 years now. But lately I read more and more good reviews for him and for the prices he sells you cannot blame people feeling the itch.

I also agree with bklm1234, it's a freaking rep that is gonna fail sooner or later, buy 2 from Paul with the money. And since when a dealer offers after sale service on an asian 7750 or on any movement for that matter. If it arrives DOA both will replace it , if it stops after a week both will replace it, if it breaks after 4 months is anybody going to replace the watch or put a new movement in it for free? Anybody here believes so? I would say try your luck with Paul (you are already trying your luck with the daytona itself )

Paul's ETA or choose your dealer as they say. But only ETA and not asian 21J if you dont want another paperweight. I have Paul's with eta and one of the first noobmariners of TTK with asian. ETA ...I repeat.....get ETA.

I got the So called ultimate SUB and the LV in ETA when he offered them as a crazy sale for 100$ each shipped. Got them but the black one had an uneven crystal and a slight imperfection on the SEL. Send it back he shipped back a perfect one. Very happy with them, the black one is my daily beater. Since then I bought a perfect pam087 for 179$ and I have on the way a ultimate omega PO for a friend. Paul delivers. Happy Xmas!

Whatever you get get the ETA one...the chinese 21J sucks big time....as most chinese autos do unfortunately in my experience. I actually own both the TTK chinese and Paul's ETA. Guess which one of the 2 is still ticking?

Of course you should contact him. It was clearly specified in the conditions of the group buy that each watch would be hand inspected to avoid this. This is a major issue IMHO. Contact your dealer and also Richard Tracy and keep us posted on the situ. Cheers

Congrats on the watch nguyendd. Although I can still see the dreaded white chip on the dial at the 05 minutes position and a bit elsewhere.....werent we supposed to have each watch inspected to avoid this???? What's the deal here?

Quick and dirty list: Nr. 1 hint : Rehaut (not deep enough?) Nr. 2 hint : Crystal (does not have a high enough lip from the bezel?) Nr. 3 hint : Dial (not enough strong print clear letters?) Nr. 4 hint : Crown (too big? not sharp enough?) Nr. 5 hint : Laser etched crown @6 (visible by naked eye?) Nr. 6 hint : Bezel edge (Sharp?) If you answer YES,YES,YES,YES,YES,YES you have seen a replica and a bad one at that... For me the quickest hint to know if somebody is wearing a rep Sub is to check the rehaut which is always visible at most angles.....never failed before... (from 1 meter the latest "ultimate" subs do have enough rehaut to pass as gen like..) Checked it last evening with a friend who weras a gen pre93 sub and me my TTK asian latest sub.

Yes they do! The one on the rep is of course a bit bigger and more visible but stilll you have to know where to look to see it on the newere version subs like Andrew's. Cheers

It's the best value for money wear-without-mods-to-impress-your-friends kinda Sub. The one that Precious, Andrew, TTk, Luckyyy and lately Aspire sell in asian or ETA. It's definately a keeper or try to mix parts with an TW best or MBW to have the absolute top modern Sub rep. Enjoy it, we waited a long time to get something like that and so affordable. Cheers!

It's asian unitas. Dealer answered that he checked it and it was working before shipping. I don't know how this could have happened. There seems to be a sharp bend at the spring more obvious on the 2nd picture. Anybody knows any watch repair guy in Brussels Belgium that is rep friendly...or should I just send it back for an exchange.
