  2. Good to see you old friend. I still have my contact with Rolex but the more I think of it, the more sense it makes to leave the 1500 as is. Perhaps my wife will wear from time to time. Any “good to wear “ vintage subs similar to the old MBW’s?
  3. Hello gents, kinda wish I can get my original handle and history back as Justasgood but hey, ask around about me. so my Father passed away a few weeks ago and my mother gave me his 1500. I would like to build a 1680 using the movement but I have been out of the watchmaking process for far too long. last build I did was my 1963 Gilt PCG with all Gen parts fitted to a Phong case. No idea where to look now and I am hoping the family here can help. anyone have any useable parts or know of where I can source what I need? here is a view of some of my past builds/watches and a great breakdown here:
