pam 063 with 2893 movements seem to be tuff to get, at least from the dealers recommeded on this site. Recently purchases an 029 from EL wth 2893. I know it has its flaws (crown, lum cyclopse and date font) but it is a damn fine looking watch and keeps great time.

Wow, i gotta tell ya, i never noticed the difference between the gen and rep with respect to differences in distance to the rehaut... i wouldn't call it significant or noticeable to 95% of the general population, but ur right... as for the 063, i tried several dealers on this site.. they seem to be pretty tuff to get at this point, at least with 2892-29 movement.

Only the cyclops . Got a 2893-29 from eddie lee about a week ago. it has not lost a second, once i set and wound it properly. awesome watch.

Well I am also a relative newbie... I have been a mamber for about 6 mos, promarily surfing but last week. When I first joined up, I too was kind of surprised at how popular they are, but they grow on you. Recently I ordered my first rep.. a PAM 029 with a 2892-3 movement and it came in today... I can't stop looking at it.. the thing is beautiful! I will grant that it is a different look... but I love the clean styling and the sheer size..
