YES!
this looks as the real thing.
This is not only looking as the real thing, but it has the same mov as well. (perhaps just less bps).
And don't think the bridges are not correct, because 036 didn't have swan's neck bridges!
HEI GUYS, AM I DREAMING, OR THEY JUST STARTED TO MAKE CORRECT CROWNS!!??!!!!
That more recent 036 model always had a good crown and good CG. Don't know why they can make a decent Ti crown but struggle with the SS versions?

4. Kobold spirit of America, 44mm with nice display back and my favorite movement, the 6497. Also, the company is about 30 mins from my home and watch seems to have an interesting story to it. http://www.koboldwatch.com/products/watch_shots/soa1.htm
Think you have nailed it with that one - a great looking watch and a talking point if you can pick it up from the factory
-
Anything gold or with jewels on.

Yes, Miles, I agree. Especially that PAM187 47mm chronozilla looks much better than a 46mm square "clock". (Just kidding
) You know what I mean
Indeed! Hope the 187 is still giving good service, 47mm round = good, 46mm square = bad...

PT did not have the 42.5 orange in stock - so i have placed an order with:
aka andrew i believe.
Lets hope i get it before chrsitmas.
will post pics when it arrives
Thanks
Dan
Never had a problem with trusty (and I also got my orange 42.5mm 4th gen from him) hope you enjoy the watch.

Hmmm, looks a little too large. By the looks of the wrist shots we have seen so far, the lugs of the B&R will overhang the wrist of quite a few people which will make it likely to get scratched, dinged, caught on things etc. when you wear it (not to mention it looks a bit silly). I think this issue is more to do with the shape; it looks like a human wrist can more easily accomodate a 47mm round watch than a 46mm square one.
I think I am also coming to the conclusion that this is a watch that looks better off the wrist than on.

on ebay You see how price go on higher and higher for gen used rubber
Which is exactly why our dealers should get that rep 22mm rubber strap out pronto! They could make some extra cash from gen owners looking for a low cost equivalent to the real thing...
-
They look like $30 reps...
-
Put me down for one - prefer without A/R coating (if there's a choice).

To my knowledge, or lack thereoff, Omega does not sell just the bezel insert, they sell the whole thing (bezel insert along with bezel assembly). When I received the item, I understood why: The "insert" is apparently bonded (it seemed to be somehow welded or otherwised "fused" and NOT glued) to the bezel it self. Even if you could pull it off - which is only possible by carefully grinding it off from inside the bezel, thus destroying the bezel itself in the process - the "insert is much thicker than the rep insert.
My advice, for the benefit of the rest of the RWG bunch is DO NOT buy the genuine Omega PO bezel unless, like me, you want to squander about $200 on it. Oh, and by the way, from a lengthy conversation with "Cong" from Ofrei, Omega is clamping down on it's genuine parts sales outside of Authorized Dealers. I received this item eight weeks after ordering. I've posted on my experience on the Omega PO bezel about three times (including this one) in order to prevent you guys from wasting your money as well.
Ok, just checking. There is a guy selling rep PO bezel inserts on eBay for $30 each.
http://search.ebay.co.uk/_W0QQfgtpZ1QQfrpp...lesaleoutlet990
Might be worth a punt for anyone who has problems with their rep. The same guy is selling loads of other rep bezels as well...

I bought the genuine Omega PO Orange bezel from Ofrei for my 42.5mm rep. The genuine Omega PO bezel DOES NOT fit the rep, I repeat, DOES NOT fit the rep. The bezel is constructed all together different and will not seat on the watch. And, even if was designed exactly as the rep bezel (which it is not), the bezel is exactly 1mm smaller in diameter than the rep, so it DOES NOT fit. I guess that the same is the case for the 45mm. I was able, in the end, to remove the bezel pearl from the genuine Omega bezel and I'm waiting on a spare bezel from Joshua so that I can insert the genuine bezel pearl into the rep bezel. If not, I'll stick with what the rep came with.
Did you buy the whole bezel or just the insert?

I think Pams are coming off the boil slightly. Based entirely on some anecdotal evidence, but the sales and accessories sections of Paneristi.com seem to be slowing... don't know why, could be that there is increasing competition in the big watch arena, or less disposable income to go around.
Personally, I hope the price of 2nd hand models drops a little. So I can snap up a bargain!

*STOP PRESS*
I have today been informed that the SWAWKF (aka 'strap we all would kill for'
) is actually in production!!!
To satisfy my perfectionism on this (the 187 strap was produced to varying degrees of quality and feel), I have offered to supply exact specs and pics (rubber/silicone composition ratio, embossing, tongue, holes etc.) to ensure it's done right.
10-14 days eta.
p.s. I've never been a fan of the 007 model SMP, but since seeing it in the flesh (and on the wrist) yesterday the CR edition PO is whispering to me softly - must be that extra little symmetrical flash of orange on the sec hand, mmmmm....although I worry my recently arrived new model all-black PO Chrono would get quite jealous
Looks like Santa might be bringing me a 45mm PO after all...!
-
Don't know the model number, wait for thomasng to rip this one to shreds, but obvious differences from the real thing are:
- running seconds should be at 12 o'clock
- cyclops should be at dial level and not attached to the crystal (like Panerai)
If you like it, go for it though, it's still nice. I have no idea of the quality of this rubber bezel though.
Aha, well although I like the look of it, it's a bit expensive for something so obviously innaccurate, thanks for the feedback though.

Just browsing around and came across this on Andrew's site:
Now, I don't know much about AP, but I like the look of this - is this close to gen? Does anyone know what the model number of this gen is so I can google around for it?
-
I always wanted a black PO to keep company to my orange... and this watch looks like a perfect excuse to get one.
I'm usually not too crazy about the special edition (007) versions, but I wouldn't mind getting the standard black one with a rubber strap. After all... that's what Bond really wears.
Yep, if they only made the rep rubber strap - then the world would be a much safer place; there would be lots of rep 007s around!
-
Well, guys
This is the FINAL RELEASE VERSION... NO MORE EDITIONS..
ONLY EXCLUSIVE to Trusty Time and Perfect-Clones
Everything that can be better is better.... any better, you have to hit to the nearest Auth Dealer.
LOL..
=)
Andrew
Hi Andrew,
Any chance we will see a 22mm rubber strap? Many forum members are waiting for a rubber strap - if you can supply a black 22mm PO rep rubber strap, there will be many eager buyers!
-
I am in for one for my 029 as well.
-
Saw Casino Royale last Friday and I have to say that even though I was eagerly anticipating it, it was better than I hoped! Daniel Craig will make a great 007 and I hope the next films continue what CR has started by having decent scripts so they can get decent actors.
-
hmm....I heard board members buying these for the po?
I have the 20mm SMP strap on my 42.5 PO and it fits, just not perfectly.
Need that 22mm strap for the 45mm rep... the dealers are missing a trick!
-
Definitely one of the good guys, have bought 5+ watches from trusty. No problems whatsoever.
-
Looks like a great watch, I do like Sinn - quality watches at a reasonable price and such a massive range. I think collecting reps has given me a better appreciation for the smaller, reasonably priced brands. For R*lex, Omega, Panerai etc. I'll keep buying the good reps, and buy my gens from people like Sinn.
-
I love it! the lume is really amazing...i am going to google it...to see where is possible to get it...and to get more info about it...really nice watch!
The company is here: http://www.orsawatchco.info/
They are doing a version where the whole dial background is lumed. That may be a bit too much for my eyes!

Found this posted on one of the gen watch forums, whaddya think? Gen swiss made watch for high-end rep money (~$450 I think)
http://www.timetechtalk.com/view_topic.php...&forum_id=2
I really like it and since they have a few left, might order my first gen for a while
Finally Correct Crowns On The Pam Reps?...
in General Discussion
Posted
They have been selling the 036 with this crown for about 6 months, but so far this seems to be the only model with the correct looking 'fat' crown.
