  1. I have had a decent head of hair most of my life, but about four years ago It started to thin a little on top. I noticed this area about the size of a quarter where I could see my scalp,I freeked :Jumpy: Well I started doing some research and found two Hair loss forums,Hairloss talk and Hairloss help. These are the two biggest hair loss forums around. The first thing I tryed was Rogain, I had a tearable reaction to It,swollen eyes and puffy face, not good, had to stop taking It.I read a lot of negative comments about propecia,so I decided to skip It. I then started doing a lot of research on a natural approach, some said It would help, some said It would not. Well I gave a try and Im glad I did. I started this fight against my hairrloss In Dec/07.(Diet) I started eating a more natural diet, whole foods/organic/ a lot of brown rice, fruits and veggies, ect.(suplements) I take a daily mega vitamin, Omega fish oil, Saw Palmetto,Calcium, and Biotin. I also try to drink around 64oz bottled water a day.(shampoos) Mon-Wed-Fri Nizoral 1% the other days,Nexus for thinning hair.I also do "scalp messages" every other night or so,this helps to Increase blood flow to the scalp, healther scalp, healther hair. I dont know how much It helps but It sure does feel good :D This has been my regimen for almost three years. Have I grown any new hair?? I dont think so but It has indeed slowed down my hair loss. My hair was looking like [censored] there for a while, lifeless and limp, kind of whispy. My hair looks much better now, It is thicker and that thin spot on top of my head Is barely noticable. The girl that cuts my hair has also seen a change. I was also finding some hair on my pillow and In the shower, not anymore. The reason many regimens dont work for people is because they give up after a few months. The truth Is that one should give whatever there trying at least 12 months before they deside If It's working or not. If after 12 months you see no Improvements, well then It probably safe to say "It's not going to work". I did not notice any changes In my hair for about 8 months, after that I could see that my hair was becomming healther and thicker. Great toppic Dani, I was actually thinking of starting the same toppic a few weeks back. There is some very good infomation In this thread, thanks everyone :)

Glad you enjoy the topic and thanks for your response :)

Its a hard problem for many, I have hair loss at front so many things dont work good to give anything back but I do hope it will stay what is left :p Its a good amount left, so to have at least couple of different haircuts :)

My hopes lays in stem cell technology.

If you look good bald then cool, me I prefer hair over being bald ANY DAY..So people that are not experiencing hairloss cant really say anything, trust me your reaction will not be what you think as hairloss is not something that happens over night its drags out like some evil spell.

  2. I think I posted in the wrong post before, apologies: more relevant here:

I was a contributor early on, and no one supported the forum except Guy. Let's not get out of hand on the facts and rumors. Really, please don't bash. It only serves to perpetuate a bad opinion of rep builders and collectors. In the spirit of good taste...you people r better than this even with all the easy criticism nonsense that has happened over there.

I'm sorry to see the place the way it is. Early on the brand was priced Inexpensively for a Swiss watch, so many could afford. The price point of the reps are price at half the 1993-1997 prices. I could afford back then. Now all I can afford are follies, reps and nice historic pateks. The only thing going for the brand at this point is loyalty. Good or bad, those are the forums such as risti.com.

Those loyalty custom models ruined the forum IMO. Despite panerais press, Panerai remains a novelty brand. They're not rolex, jlc, Patek, or Lange.

Enjoy your watches and craftsmanship to copy because that in itself is a wonderful artform. Just look at the painters of past....relish your role and move past the bash.

    Thx for reading -d

    Great post, thanks for sharing.

  3. Let me leave you with one last question. Are people upset they didn't get one because now they are not in the elitist group who can claim Panerai/Risti cares about them or are they more upset that they can't flip it for 3 times what they paid for it? You will never know. ;)

I think the first for most that post on the site, they want to be in the elite they are just to getting what they want, they have lots of $$ but now their favourite brand don't chose them, that makes them feel out of place and in their head less of an member of paneristi..Many I am sure is just to paying their way into coolnes and whatever so now their ego is hurt

Me I em gutted I could not make 3 times what is cost :D:lol:

  4. I ordered a Planet Ocean SS Orange in may, got it out of customs last week(!!) The watch passed customs in Oslo (Norways capitol where the main postal hub is), and was ready for pickup at my local post office. But before I got there the local customs office had been on an inspection, found my "toy doll, value 1 usd", scanned it with x-rays and found the watch inside. They confiscated the package and left a note for me. I got the note when I tried to pick up the package, and called the number on the note. The fellow at the other end was a grumpy one. I didn't know what the contents of the package was, it could be the watch, something from DealExtreme or other items I had ordered so I was a bit confused at the start of the conversation. He probably thought I was trying to play the old I'm-innocent-routine. When he finally explained what was in the package I said: "Oh, it's arrived, great!". He then asked if I admitted to importing a fake Omega watch and I again confirmed happily.

Then thing is, IPR-goods (Goods that break Intellectual Property Rights) or "fake goods" aren't illegal in Norway unless you order in bulk and sell it off. For private use it is completely legal. The idiot at the other end said that was "my claim" and sounded ready to arrest me, the fool. He said it was sent over to the legal department so he couldn't do anything anyway so we ended the call. I got a letter a few days later explaining that the watch was seized, then taken to an Omega AD for inspection. The AD confirmed that the watch was indeed a fake. Why they did it was probably due to Mr. angry customs officer. Luckily the legal department still had some braincells intact and was able to read their own regulations and conclude that the product wasn't illegal to import into Norway.

The next problem was that the watch wasn't properly marked. The contents description was wrong and the value was WAY wrong. They asked for the invoice so that they could calculate VAT (25% of the value including freight). If they concluded that I had specifically asked the seller to hide the true contents and value they could charge me with a 100% added tax as a fine. I sent them all email correspondence with the seller and they agreed that I wasn't guilty of trying to smuggle the watch into the country. After paying the VAT of about 100 usd I got the watch back. I took months though...

Anyways: Norwegians: For personal use, fake watches are NOT illegal in Norway but you do have to pay VAT.

Their is no VAT its satan tax here.

But customs and watches is not a problem, but if you order anything else then be aware customs in Norway is in the top 3.

  5. Sorry not to agree with this one. Your statement almost makes the seller seem clever.

Scamming is wrong and unforgiveable and only the scammer can be blamed here.

That is why so many members here support anti-scamming activities.

You have successfully submitted a report.

We appreciate you taking the time to file this report. eBay will investigate to determine resolution.

Still if anyone is stupid enough to fall for such a bad fake then i really have no sympathy..Educate I even do that for headphones or cameras this is a 10k watch..
