  1. Is this what you're after? I got it from Reg (Narikaa). Top bloke, great watch.
  2. QUOTE (Pugwash @ Jun 29 2008, 03:06 PM) I have the rep of that one. @PUG, tell me please, have you ever worn that one in public? Where was it? Did anyone see you? What was the reaction?
  3. OK, some thoughtful chap has sent me an email offering this to me for a mere
  4. Hey, I voted for you too. No. 8 has 48% against No. 5 with 32%. You're so lucky. In my country, Social Services would have you on a charge for not using a helmet and safety net.
  5. WTF is 'Black Gold'? Oil, coal, poo, ....
  6. Looks like our trusted dealer Angus has stocks of these. It looks the same to me - what do you think? Check it out here: Angus's Black SMP
  7. I've only got one and that's the TTK Noob. In the 3 months that I've had it, it has kept good time and feels like it will last for years. So I have only had good experience of this movement. Am I tempting fate?
  8. zzipy, King's looks to be the same as the one on Precious Time's site: PT Homepage You'll have to use the site's menu to navigate to the Omega GMT. Neither appear to have the red tips to the GMT & second hands that are apparent on the gen on Omega's site: Gen GMT Has the gen been updated to have red tips. Did Omega ever make the model without red tips?
  9. Oooh, I think it's time for a poll. Yes, no, maybe?
  10. @rmcsheery, For God's sake build it and quick. Your country needs you. I'm off to Spain (again) this summer and need something that'll get the Krauts attention.
  11. Urabus, The photo shows 3 GMTs but the last version of the spreadsheet shows that 7 were ordered. Perhaps not all are shown in the photo. So what's going to come through the door, Pepsi or Coke? Who knows but the suspense is engaging.

  13. Can't find Angela's model anymore but found this being touted by 'showwatch'. Is it the same watch - certainly looks like the same blurb in the ad. http://www.ioffer.com/i/OMEGA-SeaMaster-Au...-Black-36274626

  16. Joe, Get yourself a copy of Photoshop CS. You can get 'replicas' from ebay or ioffer (especially ioffer) for Mac & PC very cheaply - just don't register it or expect help from Adobe's technical helpline. I paid
  17. I am about to order some spring bars from Cousins UK. Their catalogue lists various sizes from 6mm to 24mm but they don't state what this measuement refers to. On the watch I am concerned with, the distance between the lugs of the watch is 21mm, the length of the solid part of the spring bar is 17mm and the length of the uncompressed spring bar is 24mm. Has anyone ordered these from Cousins and if so, what size should I order: 17mm, 21mm or 24mm? :cc_confused:
  18. Toad, I read your great post and yes, you did go beserk with the photos - but necessarily so. I see that you're up to 62 posts now - so many in such a short time! BTW, I got the watch from precious time. Here's the link: PT site

  20. If I've followed your advice, the photo that follows should be bigger than the one that opened the thread. It is! Thanks again.
