I ordered a watch a few days ago in its swiss-movement version... Isn't it a bit odd that it is being sent to me from China? Would you think this is normal (i.e.the swiss movement being sent to China for final assembly) or would you think I am getting the Asian movement instead? Hey, I admit as a newbie i may be getting scared without reason, but it is my first order of a "top" replica and I'd like to be sure I am getting what i paid for...

Precisely! IMHO any scratch or hit could wipe away 5 microns of anything... But I have no experience with gold platings, so anyone with experience is welcome to post...

How is the experience with the "gold" in this model of the Big Bang? I have always been recommended to refrain myself from "gold" replicas because sooner or later they wear out... But having heard that this model is so accurate, and looking at the price makes me wonder if there is anything I am missing. I would not want to be so dumb as to believe the "gold" is better just because the price is 200 higher...
