  1. If someone can source the V.5 bezels I'd be interested.
  2. Now that's what I'm looking for!
  3. Anyone know if there are any other UN models in the pipeline? Don't care for the current selection too much.
  4. Nothing is wrong with the dial and hands. I've just never removed them and don't have the proper tools to do that job. The other reason is I don't know if the dial and hands will transfer properly. The existing movement is a clone ETA and would like to get a swiss version.
  5. Movement died in my GMT IIc. Looking to replace the movement, dial and hands. Do any of our dealers sell just the parts? If so who and is it worth it price-wise?
  6. Only dealer I've used for the last 6 months. Fast delivery always within a week to the east coast. Good return policy also.
  7. I just got my retro from Josh also. My watch has the same problem. The bezel seems to fit but it is really loose. If you come up with a solution other than this thread let me know.
  8. How about a GMT? Any out there that can be easily modded?
  9. Don't know if this was asked before but I have a general question regarding watches I returned. I have had problems with 2 watches over the past month. One from Trusty and the other from Josh. Both were very helpful and gave instructions for returning. These are the first instances where I had to return watches. (Both watches were for my wife, doesn't help getting her to buy into the program regarding this hobby!) Anyway, The 1st watch was returned to Trusty. His instructions were followed, but he was not specific regarding the type of shipping to use, so I asked the USPS counter person for help. I was told I couldn't get a tracking number for general shipping. I had to send it regular mail and fill out a customs form, which I did with glee, She stated that it could be tracked that way, (SUCKER??). That was on the 20th of November. As of the 15th of December Trusty has not yet received it and the post office could not determine its status, as they said they could. I think it got mailed into a black hole. What do you all think? The 2nd watch went back to Josh. He advised me to mail it by air mail and forward the tracking number. I went to another Post Office and asked the counter person if this could be done, knowing what I was told by the first rocket scientist. Lo and behold I can get a tracking number and proceeded to follow Josh's instructions and returned it by air mail (with a tracking number and without filling out a customs slip!). Although the watch has not moved after 5 days, (still only indicating received by the Post Office, I can at least track it. Now the questions: 1. Do you think I'll ever see the 1st watch again? 2. Is it normal to have the package sit around for so long without moving, or do you think its just because of the Holidays? Any information and / or experiences for future reference would be helpful. THANKS!!!
  10. Thats a funny comment for a forum thats centered on counterfeit watches! Anyway your right you need to be careful and scan the download after its complete to make sure theres no viruses. Even with that though its still like unprotected sex.
  11. Thats the great thing about forums. Everyone can and should speak their mind. Open dialog helps us grow and enjoy a more rounded view of the topic at hand. It helps everyone learn more about the topic. At the same time those posting on forums can not and should not take offense with opinions which differ from theirs. Thats why I stay around, for the diverse opinions. I've liked time pieces for a number of years but really didn't start learning about them until I joined this forum. bscblue, don't apologize fo anything. I appreciate your point of view even though it does differ from my own. I apologize for my off topic comments.
  12. WOW - Don't beat around the bush. Tell us how you really feel. I like it. The old styling wasn't classy, it was BORING.
  13. My thoughts and prayers go to the firefighters, their families and their coworkers. Line of duty deaths are always a tragic loss.
  14. With Rolex making changes like that, it just makes it more difficult for anyone to tell your wearing a rep!
  15. Anybody know of anyone in the Philadelphia area (south of the city) that will service reps?
  16. Thanks for the explanation, makes sense.
  17. If I could digress, why would a frozen 6:00 sub dial be desirable on the rep. I've read this in other posts with basically the same comments. I would think that this would be less desirable as it makes it less like the original? Sorry for the noob moment!
  18. Not me you can buy a lot of reps for the price of one original and generally no one will know except the person wearing it.
