Sorry for the poor camera phone picture but I saw this recently and I thought it was amusing to see.
Was wondering if any of you fellow RWG'rs could guess where it was?

Another new and slightly random pam The California is up on josh.
Looks OK but somehow not a "special" as the enhanced gen pictures made it look.
I'm liking the red but can't help thinking I'd prefer a decent Tag Monaco.
Why they can't just make a decent 312 I will never know,
What are your thoughts Gents?

That is one very good looking timepiece and that strap really brings it up a level.
Its a shame but I these BP's are just too big for my wrists . How do you find it on the wrist
Wear it well

As far as I can tell both the 14802ST and here Also the 15002ST both had solid case backs and gold screws, you could probably swap them with a cheapo versions if you really felt the need to.
I have seen at least one gen Jumbo at an AD with similar screws and my Jumbo looks pretty similar. They really are very high quality watches and though not a daily wear watch they do work on many levels.

This was my Second PAM rep (some 2 years back), and my first DSN, have parted with 2 Ti's this was the one I decided to keep. I think it was the right choice to keep. Having just got a new strap for it , a Cajun/Brent from FGD it seems to be getting a bit of wrist time.
I know the lume is too green and the dial looks a bit purple sometimes but it is a quality watch and very light to wear
Thanks for Looking

You are correct in your assumption that they are quite thin especially when compared to a fiddy.
But they do work,
Quite good fun to play with a cheap enough not to worry too much about if it goes wrong

I am so feeling this watch right now, Red is very cool indeed.
If I hadn't just bought the misses a PRESENT I'd have ordered this today. Pesky women getting in the way of my watch buying
Do it Dude and if you no likey sell it on there will be plenty of punters

Ok I was wrong, the tube and crown was fine all along. Its just too small for the hole.
The glue I used though supposed to be metal like just didn't work and the tube just came loose again and I thought it was a bust thread.
I have now had it lazer welded and it seems to ba all good

I'd go for a cheaper version first off, as PAMs aren't always for everyone. First off size can take a bit to get use to and secondly the majority are on leather strap and some people prefer steel bracelet. Thing is if you get a DSN first of the next step is really moding as anything else may well feel a step down. First PAM I'd look at 111 or 104 and see how you go. Thing is it don't matter a hoot what you get because if the bug bites, you'll be buying another one before the month is out, (Take that as a bit of warning) as nice as they are they will drive you crazy
