  1. Dude its what we do, boys and thier toys.

Bet you've always done this with stuff you've had, first kids toys then moved on to stereo's and vcr's and other electronic stuff. Now its watches.

Accept the things you cannot change.

I was finally able to get the solid back off of my Pam 055 the other day with a ball of masking tape, you'd of thought I'd found buried treasure with the excitment I had looking inside that thing.

Take it back to your watchmaker, that's what they're for.

Mine's shaking his head and rubbing his hands together right now trying to dry out and repair my SRSD. Going to cost me mucho $$$$$

    c'est bien dommage

  2. What you Want and what you need are 2 different things. IMHO you don't need a tall pin for it to go over raised markings on a dial. What you may Want is it to look like a gen, thus the need for a tall pin. If you are looking for the later I would avoid that Pam in your link as it is nothing like a 172 regardless of what the pin may look like.

  4. Not a huge Tag fan really, though I do like the vintage stuff.

BUT I saw these in an AD today and they are very nice indeed.

I think they are the Biggest Tag's I've seen and the look great on a leather strap. I was really surprised at how sturdy and solid it looked

Be nice to see a good rep.

Just got a great noobmariner from him he has an excellent selection of MBK's and I may be wrong but his prices might include shipping . Narrika has a good priced collectionBut if you want a great Pam then Davidsen DSN is your man his watches are great quality. You could always try member trades as wellHope it gets better.ST

  6. In what way do you feel the band is fake?

I know that the edges are sometimes too sharp, but that can be worked on.

If you think that it should be heavier, then I suggest you might want to look at the MBW straps, but the solid mid links are not true to an original strap.

Of the 2 bay ones you mentioned the first is too old for a noob so the second version would be the better choice, but I doubt that it will be that different or better than whats on the noob. Just my HO

  7. Jesus F ucking Christ. Who are the morons that fall for this shi t?

Don't give me this "local availability" and less risk crap.

These are USED, FAKE watches. Threadcrapping on these guys should be MANDATORY!

I think the first reply to posts like these should always be: "Who are you F ucking kidding?

That'll be me, I'm afraid I will be having to put my hand up for this one. (........TBC.......)
