  1. Wow, that was uncalled for. What you do not understand is that Fakemasters arrogant, pompous, self-righteousness is part of his charm! brtelec
  2. Well it just proves the old saying, no matter how hot a woman is, somewhere out there is a guy who's life is a living hell because of her!
  3. I am in a strange situation. I work in an industry that is directly effected by gas prices. Gas prices go up, increased job security. No one out here complains about gas prices out loud.
  4. I can understand having your shirts tailored to allow for a large watch. That said, I can not imagine either wearing a watch over my shirt or coat. I have seen it a couple of times and it is almost always a very expensive watch. I don't think that it is to make it easier to see your watch when you are in a hurry or you would see a Casio worn like this. If it is so important to make sure that no one misses seeing your watch you might possibly need some help with self image. I know this will seem like a flame, but I really do not mean it that way. I grew up with and now work with people that can afford pretty much what they want when it comes to watches and it never fails to surprise me how little they care what you think of their watch or them. I wear my watches for me, not the general public. If you happen to see it and comment on it, that can be nice, but I don't care if anyone else sees my watch.
  5. I have to agree with Italiano. I have never understood this fascination with non-approved dealers. It is so interesting to me that so many members on these forums are always looking to find that one site that none of us have found. If you want a cheap beater I have to agree with fitmic and vbarret, talk to silix.
  6. Maybe I misunderstood the initial question but I count my time as TTK. I might spend an hour getting my watches wiped, wound or set for the day but the amount of time I spend online with these forums is down right embarrassing. I don't work a normal schedule so when I am off it is for 6 weeks straight. Now at work I am starting to Supervise and I have internet access and no adult supervision. It is ridiculous the sheer amount of time I have spent in the last year on these forums. I love it though.
  7. I have said it on other forums a number of times, but I wear my reps for day to day use. For any kind of real activity it will always be a Seiko or Citizen. The risk to my rep watches is not worth it to me. I wear my reps for the look and style, but I will never kid myself as to what I am buying. If I need a high end watch to dive or exercise in, for some unknown reason, I will buy one. I have had a gen SD for about 15 years, and even that watch no longer goes diving.
  8. Figured I would introduce myself. I have regularly haunted a couple of other forums over the last year and a half and decided to expand my horizons.
  9. It is amazing to me how common a story this is. I too almost fell for this type of scam through "Swiss Replica", but luckily found some of these forums just prior to sending my money. My favorite part are the scam sites of testimonials praising the scam sites.
  10. I have a blue SFSO and I just ordered a white one. I am going to decide which one I like better and sell the other. Man I know your problem it's not an easy decision.
  11. Just wanted to introduce myself. I am new here but not to the hobby. Have been collecting for about 2 years. I have no idea why I have not been on this forum but I already recognize a number of people from the other forum I frequent. A note to say hello.
