I'm sure the case presses work but.... Is there a way to press in the crystal without using a press? I have never tried to swap a crystal but I have the 116710 and found a crystal with the correct AR on the cyclops. Cheese

I have owned replicas for a long time, I'm talking before Al Gore invented the Internet. Even in the old days when the reps were not that good I still got excited about them. As I got older, I purchased a gen Rolex Sea dweller. I really liked it but it just sat on my wrist it was exciting but I never thought well I need to change The bracelet or I want to Parkerized this which I really wanted to do, but the damn thing was so expensive I didn't dare. Well we know how the economy has gone so I ended up selling my Sea dweller for some extra cash etc. etc. All of a sudden I found myself looking at replicas again and ended up with a GMTIIC and I'm back to purchasing genuine watch crystals, faces, etc. And then I realized my mindset was. okay I don't only need one watch, I need more and can afford more. I'm looking at sea dwellers again not real ones, The reps are more fun, and if someone with a gen came up to me and said well you probably will have that watch for two years and you have to buy another one, I will have the rest of my life. I would tell him I'm sorry He feels that way. But that's kind of how I felt. I was stuck with this thing for the rest of my life, What an awful feeling. I am only interested in things for about 2 to 3 years, other than my wife and child, and then I want something new. so I guess after that whole entire thing I just wrote I want to say It's great to come back and see people are still interested in reps and the different qualities of reps that are out there. I hate Christmas form letters.... So this year I want to enlist some help from you guys about some funny stuff I should put into the letter. They always start with "what a year we have had!" I was thinking to put in the letter My wife wanted a basement, so we thought is would be great family time to dig our own in our present house. We wanted to go on Vacation to Fort Wayne but just as we were going to leave early in the morning our dog chased a skunk into the car and we couldn't use the car for two months, and it still smells when you use the heat or the air. I put so much stuff in the attic this summer it fell through the ceiling but we left the hole because it seemed to help cool down the house better. Ideas? Thanks! Cheese

If you have something like a Rolex with brushed steel use a new Brillo pad in straight strokes very lightly. Works on my gen SD. AQWC
