  1. Yep the old smp crown and tube should fit this fine, so you'd be covered ryaku, pretty much same design with these cases except for things like the bezel/caseback.

I'll have to see a good review before I'd buy, but judging by the 50th anni edition this could be a nice rep. Most of the pearls on the 50th weren't bad at all, but the promo pic on Joshes site had awful pearl on that also. Lots of other nice stuff on the agenda such as the Tudor bb and the IWC and of course the noob CPO/LMPO so these better be good :)

  2. We need to keep this list going, if we can get an interest list of about 200 within a month then we will get a good one made. I realise not all people the list will buy, but it will show at least people want it and they will make it a go of getting it to look good.

  3. Surprised you were banned Jkay, cant really ever see you committing something like a ban-able offence. Strange indeed.

I would've thought the AT would be an obvious choice, but seems not, looks like being left to the cheapy 'copied from pics' sections if we can't show how much we want it. Thanks for the support

  4. Thanks guys, names added.

Ok names added to a general list, it's just a list in no particular order showing interest rather than a queue or anything like that. Also added are some people that can't vote in polls so if you cant participate in the poll you can add your name below to continue the list (do both if you can). Hopefully we get enough interest to get something going eventually...

If you have interest in a good quality (super-ish rep) Aqua Terra being released and you are on repgeek, please show your interest, vote/add name to list at end of thread here:

    http://www.repgeek.com/showthread.php?t=176374

...and if not on the geek then add your name create a list, stamp your feet on here, I'll add them to the list on rg.

....apparently the watch is not popular enough to rep.

....yeah I know caseback, caseback, ...give it a go anyway, even with omega lookalike rotor on a 2824.

  6. Thanks P153, great info on lost/stolen items, I'll pass that on. I think this was a lost and unclaimed possession type scenario, the original owner may not have known where it was lost or even may not have reported it as lost. Still a nice find. How come I never find things like this! :D

  7. Thanks p153, good feedback, I'm thinking it's gen also, at first I thought due to the condition and bad pics it looked rep, but there is too many things on it that look gen also, just in bad light. As you say the crown and crown guards, even shape of case, lugs, edges, dial printing etc. They guy who owns it found the watch, and immediately wrote it off as rep, he needs to get a look inside it :)

  8. Could someone who knows these well tell me what this is, I love 16710 and can see basic flaws (I think) but this one I cant tell, but some of you can.. pics not helping too much. I would love to know if anyone can tell from given pics if gen or rep and if rep what is it? i.e. cartel etc.

To me dial looks interesting, looks gen, has Chs, dw hard to tell from angles, think crown looks gen, not sure on the bezel, bracelet as it is blown out with flash, ??

  9. Hi cougar1,

    It's absolutely kind of misunderstanding!

We have a wide range of watches, yet availability of diverse watches is changeable. Sometimes a small percentage of watch models may be out of stock currently, but that percentage would never be 70%, so WE try to recommend models you may prefer so as to make you happy. You can take our suggestions if you like them and ask for QC pics  for confirmation prior to shipment, or you can also ask for a full refund. WE'll definitely conform closely to your needs. :)

Really sorry for disappointing you in previous experience. We'll welcome further business with you in the future!

    Best Regards

    WE

Thanks for the feedback WE, don't think I'm am singling you out for criticism, all the dealers continue to list watches that can't be found, it's just the bigger a website gets the more difficult it can get for both a buyer and a dealer to assess what watches can be found. It would be nice to see dealer websites tidied up and removing old or unfindable stock, but we know that in itself is a big task.

Emailing is always best to get more clarity, but even then many dealers happily tell a potential buyer what they want to hear. We all know most dealers have access to basically the same stock, but some would have access to a few rarities. In part it is up to a buyer to find out if a watch is still produced by emailing every dealer and work from there. It is so much easier with up to date reps, as soon as something is older or discontinued it gets much more difficult to keep up with who can source it or not.

I know couger1 guys and I have had some orders from you folks no problem, but he is correct update your stock we know better no one has so many available cause there are not made anymore.

    ;)

  10. You can remove the old valve if you want and fit the whole unit, you may need to epoxy the gen He tube in in this case. Most just fit the gen He and stem into the rep He tube, you may also need to file the rep tube area down a bit or countersink in order to get the gen He to fit. Once it sits flush as you want it then epoxy shut.
