I bought Tag Link (non chrono) from Andrew around 15 months ago and that was my daily beater. It crapped out on me about 6 months ago at which point I opened the back to realize that it was not an ETA as listed on the web site. I wrote to Andrew and he immediately sent me another movement (which is also a clone). The new movement is day - date, while the watch is date only. I waited for a few months to have the movement installed as I don't feel comfortable doing these things. I found a guy at a small watch shop here and he replaced the movement for me. I was there is the room all the while he did it (took him 25 minutes). The watch will only run if I wind it. It does not behave like an automatic. Took it back to the guy who installed the movement and he said all he knows is to do simple things. Can't help me with the movement issues What could be wrong? I want to get the watch repaired as I don't feel like spending 300 to buy a new one. What are my options? I am in CONUS. Thanks all.

Exactly same thing happened to mine around a month ago. I looked around could not find it, local Tag stealer is asking for 60 bucks! (didn't take the watch just asked for the part from the watch picture) I still haven't replaced it

Own a small IT Consulting company. Been in IT field since early 90s and have worked for 3 of the Big 5. Used to work for Arthur Andersen and when it went down I decided to strike out on my own. Yup. looks like it to me. I have gotten compliments whenever I have worn it. There is 200+ dollar version of this also available with ETA and AR at King's site. I will buy that if this one breaks. The best think about this watch is there is no pearl.

Just had a quick question out of curosity. Say if I have a watch with ETA 2824-2 (Asian Clone or Swiss rep - who knows) and another watch (different brand or model, say Tag Link and Cartier Santos) with the same movement, can I just swap the movements between them? Will the hands fits? Any other problems or issues to do so? Thx

I have the GMT and the clasp is very very bad and has gone worse over time. Anything other than keeping my arm straight like in a cast, it pops open. Where can I get another clasp? Anyone know what is the lug width, i might get a leather strap in it also. Thanks

I have a small wrist (6.25) and would like to ask you what model wears the best on that. I am not into very oversized watches no matter what the trend is. I think 42 is the most i will ever wear. Thx

You are missing my point entirely. What I am saying is it could be a lot better, without costing a penny more to manufacturer. Right now it is a canal street rep, if you would buy those, great. This frenzy on Omega board for a 42 PO should tell the cartel that there is a HUGE pent up demand for a good 42.

Totally agree with Chefcook. The cartels are getting complacent and manufacturers sloppy because we are letting things pass to easily. 90% of the things mentioned by him are not going to add even a penny to the cost.

Really sorry to hear/see what is going on in Bombay. I have visited all the 3 places that the Jihadis targeted (in 1992). It kinda shakes you more. Islam will cause the 3rd world war. I am convinced. It has been hijacked by the extremist wing and sadly the liberals do not stand against them as at some level they tacitly agree.
