well, there was one related topic but it seems to be dead since a couple of weeks so i dont think i am breaking any rule now.. So, has anyone bought from TTK (or any other source?? ) the 2008 MBW Sub? I just spoke with Neil and he sent me some pix and it looks ..really amazing (well, another addition-answer to ''who-has-the-best-sub'' question ...)... So, any experiences??

but where could i find a crown that looks better than the oversized on the noob??? Ive found some on an eshop to realise that they had not the rolex crown on it . .

What about the NEW GMT Master II ? With the engraved numbers on the ceramic bezel ....? Or am i the only one who is expecting this to be repped?

Do anyone know which dealer has the bezel with recessed numbers? I think this can be a fair alternative as ceramic is hard to rep

Well, i dont know if i' m still cosidered a newbie after my two rep purchases but my little experience, gathered from lots of time spending on reading posts here (b4 my purchases), says that generally the most accurate reps are the most succesful commercially and the ones that most people are discussing of , in this forum. When i started exploring the world of reps i was looking of a rep of A.Lange (WTF i was thinking???) when i realised that there could be no good replica of this masterpiece...and ...as most of the people here..i first ordered a noob mariner ( yeah yeah, the ''what is the best sub'' question ) . So, PAMs and RLXs are the most accurate and making a list of 10 most accurate rep models would consist of some models of these brands imho

After entering the world of reps by buying a noobmariner.. i m looking now at the Panerai's and i think i have already decided to purchase DSN 111 ..as people say it is one of the most acurate reps with extra mods and luming.. I ve told that the rep straps are not good quality at all and thats one reason that there are so many aftermarket products and e-shops selling straps for suitable PAMs. I ve visited some of them and i saw that i m going to pay more that $ 100 for a good quality aligator strap .. And now i am asking... Is it worth then buying genuine Panerai straps (inbstead of purchasing..suitable pam-style straps)? Is it possible, i mean..do they fit? Has anyone tried that? How much did it cost ?

come on Neil, why you say that? Well, after my 1st rep purchase (a LV Noob Sub from TTK) i was looking at Pam's.... Yesterday i visited their official site...when i say this exactly watch and i thought that it would me my top priority to by.. It is sooo beautiful. Imagine that with a good lume.. The submarine detail on the bezel is very nice too, i hope they ll make it to look close to the gen ! REP THIS !

ehmm, what is the CG? What else modifications r needed for the MBW sub? I bet it's quite interesting to modify and improve ur own watch trying to reach perfection . . What kind of tools do u need to do that?

After reading disapointing replies concerning reps of limited interest brands (e.g. Cartier and its Santos 100) i thought that it might be better purchasing a watch that after many sales, the rep manufacturers have minimised its flaws, like . .Rolex submariner. My question is that the Submariner is offered @ about 100$ (as begin mariner or something) while the same dealer offers it as 'perfect) at . . 3 times its price ($300+) .Well i know the major difference is the movement but apart from that, are there any other (external) differences? If so, which r these? R there any fully satisfied members with the 100$ submariner? Well i am not intending to provoke a conversatin on movements . .i hope ppl understood my point and my questions! thanx!!
