just try to "do some mods" by yourself..... Try, ask, fail, success, discuss, ...and then you will have built some relationships in this community that you couldnt imagine..
-
nice Gianton.... wraio

I hope you are refering the the Deep Sea rep and NOT THAT CERTAIN rep ... Coz, this one is full of flaws... just full of flaws... Bracelet and case... What about the blue lume?? IMHO, when the factories try to make better versions , the bracelet will be the most serious problem...

One last question, The crystal presses are meant to press the crystal and bezel back right? Can i use it to pop the crystal out of the bezel as i am now facing this problem? I found this to be interesting... Can someone tell me which one (or two..) of these http://www.ofrei.com/page1164.html or http://www.ofrei.com/page1166.html can do my jobs? 1.Popping the crystal out of the bezel construction and 2.Putting a crystal, bezel and case of a sub back together.. ? Which econonomy press can i use with it?

yeah ok... since (someone told here that) the panerais are the new rolexes .. the question is..."modded" to who has the best panerai... Well, my friend, the only sure thing is that the best FORUM for panerai reps is here and you have tons of FREE info to decide what you need and what you are willing to pay for... Relax...and read.. We will be here to solve any question you have... any (except for the who has the best sub - pam - whatever - is - hype - thing)

Thank you R... I think this is the point... that for this certain watch a crystal press is needed since a cannot simply press the crystal out with my thumbs...... [censored].... The budget for this watch is climbing ultra high....I saw at offrei that i will need 300$ for a decent crystal press.... Any RLX specific my modders-friends ?
-
I did exactly that... with a lot of pressure..but...

Thank you all my (platinum) friends!! Well, you were EXTREMELY helpful ..at least concerning the psychological issue... BUT the crystal refuses to leave the whole bezel thing... I push really really hard but nothing happens... I asked Chris if the glass is glued but he said it isn't and that i will manage to press it and make it separate from the bezel construction ..But this doesnot seem to happen and this is what worries me.. (well... i am not superman...but i am quite strong i guess for the job..) Another question... When you all managed to change the insert etc etc.. and tried to pres the bezel back in with the crystal. did you face the same resistance??? What did you do? Thanx again! A million times

Hello all, This seems to be my saddest post ever... I decided to start a Sub project based on the Euromariner... The transaction with Chris went perfect.. i ordered a WM insert, some tools for opening and resealing the sub from watchpart dot uk, and started to do the very first thing that proved to be a nightmare: Open the bezel i followed these pictorials http://www.watchgeek.com/bezel_install.htm http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=8561 that looked really easy an indicated that there is no need of extra force... "the bezel will pop out" .. But this did not turned to be like that... I found myself using a lot of force and the bezel did not popped out ... At last it did.... but with the whole crystal leaving the watch... kinda convertible car! I thought that this was not the case described in the pictorials and tried to disassemble the crystal and the bezel but.. no luck at all!!! Then i tried to put the whole thing (bezel construction and crystal) back on the watch but it denied to do me that last favor... I am really worried about how the things went... Please... any suggestions??? I uploaded a pic on the situation of the watch.... Please my fellow modders... give me some advice...

Can't agree more from the points above. One of my major concerns wearing various reps is that people may assume that i am wearing reps not by judging the accuracy of the reps but by judging my whole lifestyle... I am not poor i have my own job but some people will not accept that my collection could cost 20 K $ And they are right... BUT the guy was bluffing imo... 90% of the people owning gens CANNOT tell the difference between a good rep, (e.g. modded euromariners, modded pams, ultimate hbb) and their gen watch...

beautiful indeed!!!

Indeed, but i think we are missing something here. Honpo has some special reps, that our dealers cannot source right? But i doubt these reps are constructed in Japan... All japanese factories outsource things to countries with cheaper labour force, and less strict labour laws...as china. It seems then impossible that there are any reps being constructed in Japan... I think our dealers form the far east are missing some sources here probably in their own countries...

Would a gen 93150 clasp fit to a 93250 noob bracelet??? ?????

I recently received a Euromariner and i am planning to do some mods As know, the Euromariner wears the noob bracelet which is considered to be the best rlx oyster bracelet rep in the market... Excuse me? The best? Am i the only one here who is really annoyed by the funny look of the crown in the noob clasp? Or the obvious quality difference between case and bracelet? I saw a post saying that you cannot use a gen 93250 oyster bracelet to the WM9 , the case that Euromariner is built on.. Too bad, but has anyone tried it with success? I found a 93150 clasp ... Wonder if it can fit to my noob 9320 noob bracelet.... Any ideas? Any one who shares the same psychosis with me on the bracelet thing ? ? ?

DSN no longer sells Fiddys .... So, where can i send a watch that i ll purchase form another dealer, to get supelumed?
-
Than you for the info... Some more questions...: Who is Deltick??? Am i losing something here? What color is supposed the dial font to be? white? The basic Fiddy rep has superlumed dial & hands?
-
It seems that it is a hard time for those lately interested in the famous 127 PAM ... I ve done my research as my interest on this watch is growing and i didnot find things really encouraging... So, i would like some (up to date) info from people who know.. It seems that every dealer now sells the standard E117 case right? DSN does not sell anymore the Fiddy, i asked him yesterday... Swan neck movement no longer in stock anywhere??? As it is very hard to find those EL watches... which are the best alternative combo for a Fiddy? Buy a case (puretime maybe??) and send it somewhere to be modded? (Somewhere ? ) Sorry if my questions sound a bit newbie-style, i ve done my research , but things concerning the Fiddy seem to change constantly last months..... I would appreciate your ideas and recommendations

It's not a matter of "hard understanding between gen owners & rep onwers" as many peple own both.. A previous post said that if they are affraid that the paid 5K or 10K on something that can be easily replicated with superb quality with less that 500$ , then they are affraid that they may got something that didnt deserved the full amount of money the gave. Remeber, that some of the "historical swiss watch manufacturers" used the same movements form ETA...

welcome to this amazing community...

just heard from DSN that he doesn't make any Fiddys ... What is the best alternative ??? I own a 111h and the Fiddy is growing on me...
