szvwj
Having attempted (and failed) to re-lume my own B&R I can appreciate how absolutely amazing this is. I honestly don't understand how you can achieve such a smooth finish and such sharp lines. It's been said before, but I'll say it again... WOW! ammandel
Thx urabus for the pic, but actually my question was about the manufacturing process. I meant.. In gens how do they actually apply the lume? There must be an easier way than someone with an extreme artistic flair and ridiculous hand eye coordination ability applying it! So how do they do it? and why cant the process be replicated?
its_urabus
I like to think of a warehouse full of The Zigmeisters luming away, dial after dial...
szvwj
In gens how do they actually apply the lume? I've wondered the same thing. My guess is that they use a silkscreen process and print the lume much as they would the marking (just a lot thicker)... just a guess.
RWG Technical
I believe they silk screen the dials or do it with some type of robot application, otherwise you would have to have individuals sitting down luming them by hand. Simply not practical or cost effective.
ranisavage
Yeah i have a pro dial so my colour is pretty much correct just the triangle is wrong.

its_urabus
hooky, did you do single side ar or double?
hooky
I guess the singe ar is more correct. Currently there was no single AR run with chieftang afaik, so I went for double. And I also like double more with my BR01 model.
Member X
I guess the singe ar is more correct. Currently there was no single AR run with chieftang afaik, so I went for double. And I also like double more with my BR01 model. Sorry to thread hijack, but would you be able to post pics of the 01 with decent AR? Thank you
