Gadgeguy2009
...to make sure that they do not unscrew on their own? Or are they OK without extra help?
offshore
I use 243 blue on bracelet screws if they don't nip up nicely. O/S
hank7502
I make sure they are tight, then I don't worry about it.
Kollektor
Just ordered some 242. Lost my Offshore clasp pins and I'm concerned about my 183 screws. Loctite for me for the APs and Radiomirs.
Nanuq
I tried every number of Loctite out there for my bracelet rivet pin screws and none did the job. They still came unscrewed each day. I wound up knurling the threads a little on the screws and that did it... they're still tight 2 years later. And yes, I do check them constantly when I wear the watch. What's the old saying about twice bitten?
If you see Kay
sh it i wish i would have done this before. lost a b&r hex screw. ordered one from mark at timessop and got that one on. a week later i lost the second one. asked him to get me another one, and this time he couldn't deliver. so now i am stuck with a screw less lug. wish i could have learnt about the loctite s h i t earlier. Guru1
I always clean my bracelets with WD40 and Baby Oil and then I use Loctide for the screws, no problems loosing a screw. I also used loctide with my HBB's
