Going To Be Replaceing The Crown & Tube On My Sub .

hey guys im going to be replaceing the crown & tube on my sub , im a lil confused on the crown & tube sizeing ..

offeri has after market 6mm crown tubes , so i guess my question is what size crown & crown tubes do gen submariners come with 6mm or 7mm ? :unsure:

offeri has crown tubes upto 6mm i dont think they make a 7mm .

before i attempt this on my eta sub , i will use my asian airking & replace the crown tube & crown on the airking 1st :rolleyes: just to practice a bit .

does any 1 knows the size of the rolex airking crown ? is it 6mm or 5.3 ?

p.s. & UBI put me down for one of those 7mm sub crowns whenever you getem in . :victory:

can you please post the link to the offeri eta 2836-2 winding stems , i cant seem to find then .

It's probably a 2824 if it's a sub. The 2836 is a day-date movement. But either way, they're probably the same stem anyhow. I can never find parts on ofrei's website, and always have to call them. They're easy to deal with on the phone and always seem to have the part regardless of whether or not you can find it online. You'll probably want to know what the thread diameter is, though. I found for the 7753 that there were two stems - a tap 6 and a tap 10. Tap 10 was 0.9mm and was what I needed. Tap 6 was 1.2mm.
