Logan Posted July 17, 2009 Report Posted July 17, 2009 Great post thank you, I'm looking forward to seeing the finished results. Its clearly a very well made rep, but you can see how sloppy assembly and finishing spoils it.
Flashman Posted July 17, 2009 Report Posted July 17, 2009 Great project and good luck with the corrective mods, if only the rep factories took a little more care and attention to detail when they assemble their products.
Archimede Posted July 17, 2009 Author Report Posted July 17, 2009 Thanks to all the friends who appreciate this road test. I contacted the seller friend Precious Time that I will provide spare parts, has apologized for what happened and he was very available and putting a professional service. While working there over a few photos of the monster leather navy, so that is not the best but it makes good for the money spent. Cordial greetings. Archimede.
Bricciola Posted July 29, 2009 Report Posted July 29, 2009 Ciao Archimede e meno male che.................... perfetto il lavoro e i materiali usati, adesso ti serve solo un movimento 7750:-))))))) Ciao
Newdoc Posted July 31, 2009 Report Posted July 31, 2009 Im speechless. I don't know which is more impressive, the pics or the work. Thanks for sharing.
turboGUATE Posted July 31, 2009 Report Posted July 31, 2009 Regarding the comment of the darker kind of blue on the gen, the strap makes the rep to have a deeper tone of blue too. But I rather have this model on the bracelet than with the leather (makes more sense, hence the Navy name). Either way, your photos are great. It captures the best of it. Cheers!
tech Posted July 31, 2009 Report Posted July 31, 2009 Ciao Archimede.... La tua fotographia e molto gentile...lavoro e meraviglioso....grazie! Thanks for sharing your work and the posting!

goodfella0406 Posted August 9, 2009 Report Posted August 9, 2009 Thank you for the cool pics....I do have the NAVY myself and I love it! Anyway, I was at my local AD and had the real deal on my wrist just for comparison....the only huge difference are the colors: GEN - the dial is really WHITE on the gen, a bright, shiny white color.....the blue parts are dark blue...royal blue, the hornback is thick, matte, dark-blue REP - the dial is silvery white with a kind of MOP effect in the light, the blue parts are navy-blue, ....a brighter blue, the hornback is thin and shiny, does not look natural. But this NAVY rep is one of the nicest I have seen so far and you won
goodfella0406 Posted August 9, 2009 Report Posted August 9, 2009 Is that a GEN Blue Hornback? If not please be kind and tell me where you got it so I mane get one immediately. thank you
