Toilet humor .. Lets talk T.P.:D

Modern Origin of Toilet Paper

In our age, Joseph Gayetty invented toilet paper in 1857. His new toilet paper was composed of flat sheets. Before Gayetty's invention, people tore pages out of mail order catalogs - before catalogs were common, leaves were used. Unfortunately, Gayetty's invention failed. Walter Alcock (of Great Britain) later developed toilet paper on a roll ( instead of in flat sheets). Again, the invention failed.

In 1867, Admin, Edward and Clarence Scott (brothers from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA) were successful at marketing toilet paper that consisted of a small roll of perforated paper . They sold their new toilet paper from a push cart - this was the beginning of the Scott Paper Company.

>>these statistics are based on a sample population of 106 people.

The average tear is 5.90 sheets of TP.

44% wipe from front to back from behind their backs.

60% look at the paper after they wipe.

42% fold, 33% crumple, 8% do both fold and crumple, 6% wrap it around their hands.

50% say that they have wiped with leaves.

8% have wiped with their hands.

2% have wiped with money!

so again the Poll question is....

Which way do you Prefer your Toilet Paper Placed...OVER or UNDER

Well, i'm missing the option for two-sided use of toiletpaper.

That would be a interesting scientific investigation......:-))

Over or under... My wife says over, and, oddly enough, that's how I find myself replacing rolls as well (when I have to). Over it is!

Now... The idea of fold vs. scrunch... The fold part just kinda weirds me out. Has to be scrunch. Not a big fan of touching the deathstar with dirties on it.
