ck986
I have been studying the watch and so far I think the following are incorrect: The dial is too silver, the Panda should have a white dial The case back should be brushed The tachymeter/bezel part should not be flush with the dial(this may just be the picture) The minute circles should be holes in the dial I think. I am not sure whether that is the case with the rep.
sye46
I am afraid the dials may be a bit too shiny... but I still love them. I think I prefer the non-panda version... wish they could make a blue handed version of it.... like this one: Cheers! thats a nice looking watch.... looks just like mine!! here are the rest of my photos. I had both the gold hands and blue hands version. I quality of this watch is rediculously good and could never be replicated. I have so many pictures.... these are just a few I have on my server. my first portuguese... gold hands... With a rep patek in my winder These photos were meant to be a parody when someone posted their watch with a real gun

none
more IWC ... more please Unbelievable, just before bedtime I started this thread and now almost 40 posts have already been made. I think this says enough dealers! We want more and better IWC reps! I can't shout hard enough!!!
Guest Sql_pl
Which one do you guys think is more accurate? I start to believe something is wrong with silver/gold markers version subdials..... Panda seems to look like a higher quality piece.... even though in gen I prefer the non-panda... zbig
Giancarlo Fisichella wearing a Portugieser at Silverstone 28 April 2006 but I think this watch does not correspond with f1 racing suit well.
Finepics
The gold version should really have rose gold numbers and hands - a minor detail, and the chrono pushers look as if they stick out a little more than the gen. This is really nice. There will obviously be a transfer gear to move the running seconds to 6 o'clock. I thought I only liked PAM's until I saw this!!! Alextor
Here's a full page of portuguese eye-candy for you to enjoy...(I don't want to be a party pooper...and we discussed this a few times...but it is near-impossible to replicate the craftmanship and attention to details that brands like Lange, IWC, Jeager or Patek bring to their pieces... the three exceptions IMHO so far are: IWC GST ti, Patek 5053 (never show the case back) and VC overseas) The Portugieser makes my heart race everytime I see it...it's on my list of gens... Portugieser lineup Cheers Alex
ck986
I bought one from eddie. The panda dial gen is not available all over the world. I think it is only available in Europe and Asia. I also think the sparkly dial is due to the way those pictures were taken.
Pugwash
I also think the sparkly dial is due to the way those pictures were taken. I believe this is not the case. They're silvery.

Richard Tracy
The silvery patina dial is a much anticipated attempt to bring the white face models much closer to gen. That's what made me sell the white face Gst Rep, that I owned... the pure, simple white threw the accuracy way off..... This is Good News... lovepanerai
Here is a pic scanned out of the 2004 IWC catalogue/book and as finepics already pointed out the gold markers should be PG/RG and not Yellow Gold - it also shows that the Panda does exist. cheers

ryaku
Very hard to choose one, they're all beautiful. In pics i can't see subdials concentric circles... are replica subdials smooth?
lovepanerai
found some more pictures of the Panda dial gen and some very big closeups of the dial, the last one shows the silverish sparkle of the dial nicely
Richard Tracy
Very hard to choose one, they're all beautiful. In pics i can't see subdials concentric circles... are replica subdials smooth? The Rep has recessed subdials same as the gen.. take a look at the silver-white dialed model to see it more clearly.... Hey Lovepanerai, thanks for those excellent photos showing how close these next generation iwcs are coming to the dial color of the gen ! As for the yellow gold -vs- red gold, this is a flaw that I can live with... as I much prefer YG over RG........anyday.... Please don't add copper to my gold,..Thank you ! "Umm Yes,.. this is the 'Special Edition' Yellow Gold' accented model.... cost quite a bit more.. but imo.. it was worth it !" I think I will go for both... {once prices get real}..... come on dealers.. we want to see a good old fashioned "Price~War"........
ck986
What do you guys think of the modified 7750 in this watch? The only dial that is modified is the seconds dial. The min subdial is in the correct position. The new 7750 should be able to handle the added stress of only the sub seconds. What do you all think.
