between $700 - 1100

Actually wishful thinking. A new 7753 with the wrong case, dial and date wheel goes for $800-$900 from the dealers. The last 3 fully modded 196's which are not truly comparable as they are more highly modded (old case, individual case number, original dial with relume, single-sided AR and proper datewheel) all traded for $1500 +.

Sorry for my ignorance.

Actually what is the problem with the current 7753 PAM196? Wrong case means the quickset date function is not working? Wrong dial - are you referring to recessed subdials?

Thanks.

a 7753 is never to get, only watch factories as customer get this movement from eta.

or you get it with luck used via ebay, but this is a risk.

the 7750 date adjustment via crown is perfect.

most of all watches have the date adjustment via crown.

a high end top modification is a very expensive matter and only to accomplish with a watchmaker of ability.

unfortunately this kind of persons are rare.

and furtunately i have this kind of top watchmaker and also he is very reliable.
