TeeJay Posted August 20, 2009 Report Posted August 20, 2009 If you're going to wear the PO on Rubber, how about dressing as Bond did at the casino in Nassau? Not a tux, but certainly smart, and just think how many guys there will be doing the tux job... Never hurts to stand out from the crowd I hope you have a great time, and plenty of Vespers

TeeJay Posted August 20, 2009 Report Posted August 20, 2009 Ahh, I was meaning as he was dressed in this casino scene
Limestone Posted August 20, 2009 Author Report Posted August 20, 2009 OK, so if I go with the suite should I shoose the SS then?
jeff g Posted August 25, 2009 Report Posted August 25, 2009 With tie, and jacket, rubber... shouldn't be an option. Best in black exotic (Shark?) strap and deployment clasp, I'd say. SS the second choice. Is the event over? What did you wear?
Limestone Posted August 25, 2009 Author Report Posted August 25, 2009 I went with the SS.. Yes, the event is over... and it was great. We where all invited to a casino to celibrate 2x40 yers birthday (my cousine and his girlfriend) First a couple of welcomedrinks on the terrace, then we was invited to a show in the casino. And as it was a James Bond theme, the James bond ThemeSong started to play in the speakers... after a couple of tunes the song transformed into a Wedding song... and everyone was sooo surpriced.... The James Bond party was transformed in to a wedding... So I must say, the evening went on fantastic... (sorry no pics, didn
MasterOfPuppets Posted August 25, 2009 Report Posted August 25, 2009 A James Bond wedding?!?! that must have been fun! do post some pics plz!
Limestone Posted August 25, 2009 Author Report Posted August 25, 2009 Well... the Bond theme kind of "disapeard" when the wedding was started. So if they had continued with the Bond theme throughout the wedding it would have been awsome.... But I had a little "Bond experience" the day after. Alot of the wedding guests got together at my cousines house the morning after the wedding. And I got to ride in his new car Maserati 3200 GT ... No AstonMartin, but it sure was nice..
ChipSlap Posted August 26, 2009 Report Posted August 26, 2009 "So if they had continued with the Bond theme throughout the wedding it would have been awsome...." Well, right after Bond was married, his bride was fatally shot by Blofeld and Irma Bunt (OHMSS). So it sounds like they cut the Bond theme off at the right time.
Limestone Posted August 26, 2009 Author Report Posted August 26, 2009 Hehe... well thats right... Then I
fat.tail.event Posted September 6, 2009 Report Posted September 6, 2009 The bond party idea sounds extremely cool. This idea will be on the brain for some time and I foresee my group of friends having drinks and 'solving problems' on getting it going. Anyhow did your friends just try to trick everyone into the 'black tie' to increase participation in the wedding dress code?
Limestone Posted September 7, 2009 Author Report Posted September 7, 2009 Well ... you maybe right... but it was really cool seeing all these welldressed guests.. 30 men in tuxes and all the ladys had different coloured evening dresses (exept my wife, she had her pretty little black thing ) So go for it
