This is a High Profile Case

Call me crazy but...

the more exposure I have to wearing Rolex watches the more I tend to favor those models that sit a little higher on the wrist; a little higher profile in other words.

Does anyone else share this lofty opinion?

In terms of pure comfort, I prefer the slimline case of my vintage sub. No CGs, no harsh angles or squared sides, it is an incredibly comfortable watch to wear. However... Aesthetically speaking though, I am also rather fond of the 'multi-tiered' look of the case of my GMT (which is in the process of being resurrected)

Two very different wrist presences...

I think to compare them, is to compare apples and oranges, but both certainly have their merits :good:

For an Oyster case, I like the thin/med profiles quite a lot...

Though thick cased Oysters do have their merits...

Even with the mid-profile, you've got a nice beefy crystal in place to give that multi-tiered effect :good:
