trailboss
1600 is a great price for a gen Discovery. Personaly I'd go for it. That's a lot of watch for the money. Col.

Guest avitt
You can pick up a new one for $1272 by using the Bing 50% cashback offer at thewatchery.com (or ashford.com): http://www.thewatchery.com/Ebel/Watches/1911/1911_Discovery/Mens (oops...just remembered that this deal might not be available outside the US...) tomhorn
Personally, the Ebel 1911 Discovery Chrono rep is so good I can't imagine paying even $1,272 on the Ashford deal for the gen.
pwong017
the watchery might cancel the cash back so I wouldn't count too much on it....
trailboss
Cashback ended early (guess it was costing M$ too much, they just had to pay LinkLock 380 million after all) and was not available outside of US anyway. Col.
mbjoer
Of all the watches out there, this is the one to go rep with and leave it there. Have seen so many comments about the visual differences (or rather lack of same) and they all agree that you would be hard pushed to tell the difference. Have one myself and the movement also works well. If you want to go gen, go for one where the rep is less accurate. - Or even better, find one that is not replicated.
