What makes this rep 5 times more expensive then there other reps?

Dunno, but puretime offers the 1k Sub for $238.

The rehaut engraving doesn't even line up. The CG's look wrong. Can't tell with the pics, but it is the new model with the polished mid-links so I am guessing the bezel is supposed to be ceramic?

Wow they are ballsy for asking $1k+ for that POS! I hope it's a typo!

It's probably a typo, unless it's got a 3135 in it. I know when Josh puts up new merch, before the page is finished the price is $8,888 or something.

It is the sub with ceramic bezel that will be out in 2010 (maybe). The pics show clearly an ETA 2836-2 movement. It looks like the clasp is improved compared to the one that Josh has,and the bezel insert looks better. Maybe only better pictures. But anyway, 1k is crazy for a rep.

It seems there are a lot of new reps on this site priced at $1,029. Maybe this is like the 8,888 price when they aren't available yet.

The inside of the clasp does look just like the original with the micro adjustments. I read somewhere that the new sub was supposed to have the glide lock clasp like the deep sea. Does anyone know if that is true?
