landwomble Posted September 9, 2009 Report Posted September 9, 2009 Hi All, I've got a genuine Seamaster Automatic from around 2001, and it's a bit scuffed from desk surfing. Is polishing out scratches on the casing (got a couple) or the strap (got quite a few and the strap is part brushed/part shiny so probably a PITA to do) myself a Really Bad Idea or should I pay a pro to do it for me? Anyone recommend a UK based person to do this for me? Got quoted
Jkay Posted September 9, 2009 Report Posted September 9, 2009 I doubt there is anything a qualified jeweler could do to harm a solid stainless steel case and bracelet! It'll all buff and polish nicely.
