StormTooper4
Do you reckon its DLC or PVD? I'm on the fence with this one, it has a certain appeal but I'm not sure I'd want one. Looks to be pretty good though.
peepshow
Just when I thought the Ferrari lineup couldn't get any uglier... As to the DLC question, I dunno, 'trooper. My suspicion would be that it's not real, though.
Mickey Padge
Probably PVD, I doubt all of the dealers DLC claims after having avitt's true DLC coating on a couple of my watches The pink may be red, this dealer's pictures are rubbish as usual..... rolli
also in asia to get a dlc coating is commonly not a problem. many companies for this kind of coatings have the special machines for dlc coating. it's a standard coating for tools and industry products coatings. everything is possible. but the main question is.... is that another lie from the dealer. rolli Probably PVD, I doubt all of the dealers DLC claims after having avitt's true DLC coating on a couple of my watches The pink may be red, this dealer's pictures are rubbish as usual..... Mickey Padge
Well based on my observations with my avitt DLC coated blacksteel, which has yet to pick up a scratch, and the rep V2 version which scratched up on the clasp and case after a couple of days, I would say there are varying qualities in the coatings used, whatever they may actually be It is interesting that the twins list the V2 blacksteel Skyland differently: Perfect clones: "Blacken Surface Treatment to same shade and tone as Genuine....Antidust and Finger Print, Same Process as Genuine" Trustytime: "Blackened Surface Treatment to same shade and tone as genuine (Anti Dust & Finger Print) - Process similar to genuine" Make of that what you will Either way, I am sure the PVD coatings used in replicas will always scratch up faster than the coatings the genuine watches use, it will be no different for this Ferrari replica, even if the some dealers say it is exactly the same process, and others do not..... Cheers!
