hackR
Hey guys -- broke the darn pin that attaches the bracelet to the lugs on my Slevin when i changed it over from the ss bracelet to the rubber strap...but for some odd reason, the broken pin stayed in for summer wearing...getting ready to change it back over to the ss bracelet and figure i'll need a new one... anyone have an extra?...or recommend a dealer?...or a parts supplier?... I have no idea if i need a rep one or whether a gen one would fit...nor do i know what they are called and/or where to source it... this is the pin that has a groove in the middle - mine broke at this groove when doing the changeover... thanks...R

ubiquitous
One of the standard link pins for the bracelet should do the trick- The pin will be a bit more recessed in the lug (from the side) since the standard links toward the clasp aren't as wide, but it should hold just fine and may allow for a temp fix until you get a new pin sorted (provided you have an extra to spare). An easy way to check is to slide a pin through the lug without a strap or bracelet. Line up the notch for the spring detent in the center, and you should still have a decent amount of bar still sitting in the lugs on both sides. SBrat
The mall watch kiosk is a very useful place for all bracelet related issues. I had a similar problem with my rep Breitling, and took it to the mall watch kiosk. The guy put in a spare pin, which fitted, and did not even charge me anything! I was in and out in 5 minutes.
