Paypal Refund Question

I issued a paypal refund. As there were no funds in my account, the refund needed to be funded from my bank account. The funds were withdrawn from my bank account on 10/15. How long does it take for funds to be put in the Paypal account?

my experience with PP on this issue after a fraudulent purchase is 2 to 3 weeks.. that is the worst case scenario..

I think what he means is, that he issued a refund to someone else, not that PP was issuing a refund due to a fraudulent purchase.

Usually, any transactions like this take about 4-5 days. If you have 2 sources attached to your PayPal account the transactions from and to your PayPal and bank or Credit card accounts are usually instant.

yeah .,., they told me 5 business day';s but it took awhile for them to get it back to me.. not counting the time it took to sort out the fraud.. from the time it took when they announced 5 business day's it took awhile.. but hopefully that was just my dealings with them..

Depends on the destination of the refund. If a debit card or CC, could take 30 days according to their policy.

Of course, mysteriously after someone issued me a refund to a debit card, and I called them to complain, it showed up the next day....thieves...just trying to steal some interest.
