what have I bought?

I bought this watch as a gen Tag Heuer link. I cant find any picturers with links looking like this. The word Link is not printed anywhere on the watch. It says Tag Heuer automatic proffesional 200 meters at the face of the watch.

On the back it says.Swiss made since 1860, 200meters saphire crystal.

why don't you make some better pictures, preferably in daylight. And open the case back, so we can see the movement.

how is the lume? more bright than on a rep?

I think it is a genuine, older model, 7750 powered. It has the Link bracelet and ETA-datefont. A bit strange that it does not have "Link" on the dial, but Tag Heuer changes their models pretty often.

havent got the equipment to take better pictures right now. The lume is extremly strong. I dont realy doubt the authensity of the watch, it is the missing "link" logo I think is kind of strange. Was hoping some experts could help me out with some info.

Looks like a very early Link. The crown is for sure genuine. Its the one part no rep can get right. Nice watch.

Looks a bit like the real early Link model. Try having a look for F1 drivers, usually Maclaren, you might find a similer model there. It sounds a good bit like my dads F1 Maclaren, except his has the drivers and team boss signatures engraved on the case back. I would say thats your best bet, or google sports stars who wear TAG watches, you may find your model in amongst all of them.

Either way, sounds lik you have a real nice watch there mate!
