Replica 7753

I have read someplace that there is a replica 7753 out there. Does anyone know if this is true and how to get a hold of one?

Havent seen a true asian 7753, there is a a7750 with the same dial layout however. But these are not direct interchangeble because the date is in different place, and if i recall correctly the a7750 tri-compax is slightly thicker.

The 7753 date wheel is bigger in diameter thus making it further outboard then the 7750. This will cause the dial window to shadow over the DW numbers.

It likely won't without some work. If you are going for the tricompax layout, the standard mod to the A7750 is below:

The extra bridges would likely make the movement too thick to fit in a 7753 case without mods.
