hackR Posted October 31, 2009 Report Posted October 31, 2009 watches reflect time...time reflects memories... i'd keep it, B...and reflect... soulful... R-
dolphinfreindly Posted November 1, 2009 Report Posted November 1, 2009 this might seem like a tough call for you fella, after the condolences have passed all you have are the memories, they are yours forever. The gift however is merely a material possesion, albet with memories attached. I personally wouldnt want to part with it, but I agree with the earlier sentiment of rather than selling, pass it on to your friends family, but be careful, it might offend if they feel you are willing to give away such a gift. Im sure you will make the right decision for you, but make sure as it cant be replaced. take care dolph
maxman Posted November 1, 2009 Report Posted November 1, 2009 I would sell it to the highest bider Just kidding, I would keep It
Slartibartfast Posted November 1, 2009 Report Posted November 1, 2009 It needs to be kept. Subsequent regret for selling, cannot be fixed.
pbe2410@wanadooadsl.net Posted November 1, 2009 Report Posted November 1, 2009 That is what I call a watch with its own soul. Somebody told me once watches sometimes have soul, reps never do. I would keep it with me, and only would sell it if I am thinking on getting something really special..and gen, then your friends gift will be part of the new purchase, That is the only situation I can imagine I would get rid of it. Watches have soul, perhaps franken too, reps never do
