Cartel 1665 vs. Clarks

has anyone tried to put a Clarks superdome on a Cartel 1665 case yet? If so, does it actually fit the case?

It fits perfectly. It's just a little taller. Clark's on the left.

fyi.. clarks sits a bit higher on MBK than the genuine also.. I have T39 on one 1665 and a Clarks T39 on my GW.. and the Clarks will sit a bit higher..

Since the original one was sitting a little too low according to some here, the Clark should be about right.

wait a minute - does this mean that the Clarks will fit a "NON-MBW" case?

If you have a rep case that happens to have the same dimensions as the gen Rolex, then it will fit. Trouble is, there are many variations of the same rep case floating around made by different factories & (excepting MBW 5513/1680/1665s) they are not made to any consistent standard, so it is an entirely luck-of-the-draw affair.

the original appeared low due to the cone shape of the bezel insert.. once you replace the insert with a yuki's or Clraks it is flatter... the height of the crystal should be fine... as long as the Clarks fits.. good
