I fancy buying a rose gold plated watch, preferably a Rolex, but don't want to get one that will scream fake.

Has anyone bought a rose gold watch that looks like genuine rose gold? And if so, where from?

I have a Rose Gold Daytona (that I actually bought for "parts" for its non-7750 working seconds @6 movement), it is not too bad.

My wife put it on, and I think she could pull it off.

I am swamped today, but time permitting I will shoot some photos.

Rolex EverRose gold is flat out impossible to fake - sorry. Even standard gold is tough but anyone who has seen Rolex ER is going to know... - I suggest Homer's Rose Gold Tourbillon if you REALLY want an awesome (gen, no less) watch with an amazing complication!

Stick to Two Tone if you must have rose or yellow gold. A Breitling will provide you with good choices if you desire to go yellow. There are a good number of rose gold TT Rolex reps available. All over rose gold can be difficult to pull off. Good luck with this project and do share the final choice with photos too.
